How much do you want to bet, that even when PS gets here, they won't be able to resolve because the slackers haven't put in their night actions.

Merrid and Iparth face each other in the arena. Merrid immediately begins raining down a flurry of thrusts and slashes with his weapon. Iparth tries to riposte, but is unsuccessful. Instead, he is hit! One, two, THREE TIMES! He only just manages to twist out of the way of the fourth slash sent his way by Merrid. All the while, he has been trying to land his own attacks, but nothing is touching Merrid. Iparth is almost out of breath, he winds his arm back for one more attempt. Merrid takes the slash to his side, knowing that Iparth wouldn't be strong enough for it to do much damage. He thrusts his weapon up through the bottom of Iparth's jaw and through to the top of his head. He picks Iparth's entire body up using only the weapon thrust through his head, and roars as he shows the crowd his trophy. Iparth's blood is dribbling down Merrid's arms and soaking into the sand at his feet.
Iparth Erule is dead. He was Teres the Thracian, and Shinrei
It is now Day 6. 36 hours remaining.
There are 5 Players left alive: Bendal Home, Eldat Pressen, Ghennan, Merrid, Prazec Goul
3 votes for lynch. 3 votes for night.

Jesus fucking christ look at that scene, he's fucking more deadly than I am!
Merrid, you signed your own fucking death warrant going all out to survive that fight, if you had been JUST A LITTLE better than your opponent you might have seemed a bit more town. You should have held back, though to be honest, I was probably going to try to lynch you today anyway.
Vote Merrid
A regular town member simply could not be more capable of damage than the only damage orientated roled town.
Good night, you fucking scum.

What a glorious match! The Gods themselves give standing ovation. Every citizen of Capua whispers in awe of the gladiators of house Batiatus. But you, gladiator, are oddly silent.
ELDAT PRESSEN MUST BE SILENT FOR EIGHT HOURS.

Too late dickbrain, he already voted for your last shield.
Enjoy your final few hours, for I SPARTACUS, shall be the one to free the slaves! And also ram my blades through your eyeballs and make of your brains a particularly stupid slurry.

I could hammer. I could just drop that right now. If I do and Eldat is a shield then game over.
Objections?
Should we at least wait to hear from an absent Merrid?

This is D day, no more days remain if we get this wrong.
I really want to hammer, but there is always that nagging doubt.

Just do it, either way we can get a game for next week setup, and at this point would be very hard to convince that it was anyone other than Merrid at the moment.

I wanted him dead yesterday. Used him for the link with Tennes. I have been on my game, and something is nagging at me.
That scene didn't seem like one of the shields. There did not seem to be a special ability. They both attacked each other 5 times, yet Merrid hit 4 out of 5 whereas Iparth hit once.

Blah blah blah.
Merrid is dead. He was Onomaeus, the Doctore, Batiatus' last loyal servant, and Messremb
Once Onomaeus is put down, Spartacus rallies the few remaining gladiators to his side. They storm through the ludus and find Batiatus making love to his wife, unknowing of the gladiators' recent deeds. Spartacus draws his swords and creeps up behind the lanista. Batiatus' wife screams as she sees a dark form appear behind her husband. Batiatus tries to turn to see what she is screaming at, but Spartacus crosses his swords across Batiatus' throat, and with a scissoring motion, removes Batiatus' head from his shoulders. Batiatus' wife is screaming as blood soaks her entire upper body, and she cannot move from fear as Batiatus' now-headless body slumps onto her. The Gladiators then escape the ludus and head for the hills to live as free men!
Town wins! Congrats folks!

Well played guys
Especially Obdi for calling it (albeit for slightly the wrong reasons ). And well played Inane and Tatts for holding it together the last couple of days.
