4 situations;

1. Denul is town and scum are already on his train or have expressed that is where their vote will go
2. Denul is town and town are on his train, but scum missed their chance to hammer and end the game
3. Denul is scum, got frustrated/desperate and self voted, he has town on his train and scum will not vote to lynch
4. Denul is scum and other scum are distancing themselves by getting on his train

Scenario 1, that would mean liosan and HP are the uncertain town, but they aren't on and asking questions to try and find out more information, it would also mean that the scum have either been unified and on his case since his attack on GL (despite GL being town)

Scenario 2, in this one, Liosan and HP are scum but due to X reason neither could take advantage of the opportunity to win the game.

Scenario 3, the self-vote was an ineffectual play since it hasn't changed anyones minds. The quote spam isn't doing a lot to sway his detractors either. In this scenario the scum are HP and Lio, who are suddenly inactive. We potentially have enough to lynch Denul even if he removes the self vote.

Scenario 4, Denul is scum and has been targeted by other scum to distance themselves and help them win eventually. However 3 of the 4 people have been on his case quite strongly some time already. That would be a very long odds situation, in this case, HP and Lio would be the town, but are, again, inactive and not here and not looking for a way to win.

In none of these scenarios do either HP or Lio end up looking good at all.

You know what Amp, I have went through this over and over, and there are no reasons why I think we should let Denul live. I think he has done nothing this game pro town, he's a good player but is acting too scummy. That combined with how the night kills have went down lead me to believe he is scum.

Ie Pallid day one, and Atrahal and then Eloth.

Then you got that day one jumpiness, missing end of days, low posting mid game, and spamming late game.

How can I not see Denul as scum?

I don't know their posting times, but it has been nearly 36 hours for HP to post, and Lio spent the last 24 with only a single post on D-day. Fucking hell if these 2 are town we deserve to lose.

It is no longer early in the day because of HP. But I don't know what happens if scum get parity due to modkill, assuming he is town. Does the game end instantly or what?

Why are you keeping track of someone modkill timer? The only time that I do that is when I am scum. Other then that I leave it up to PS. As it is PS's prerogative to modkill someone or not regardless of the amount of time. For instance you do not know if HP said that he was going to be incommunicado for a period of time and asked for an extension. Thus counting down a modkill timer if your not scum trying to narrow the field you shouldn't care.

Honestly not in the game format but because I am sick to death of seeing this what in your opinion is pro town play. Because I firmly believe having been both scum and town over the years that the majority of our players have no idea what town behavior is and wouldn't know it if it fucked them in the ass for 9 hours with out lube.
