I started playing recently under tha name Lycaenidae, thanks to my bf. I'm in a german clan called "2 and 1/2 Queen".

I managed to finish my th update to th6 last night - in time to redesign it for the coming cw. I love it when I can put new stuff into my war base during preparation day. Especially when that stuff is a new wizard tower and a new mortar.

We are currently playing against the weirdest clan ever! Most of them are TH10 but matched with TH8's cos they are so rushed and poor. Only a couple of hours to go, they have done about 7 attacks. Most of them didn't have full CC's (if anything in them at all) and a lot of them had 0 donated, 0 received for the current season (which has 11 days left but they are now a month long. I currently have nearly 3000 donated so it's not hard to get more than 0 in a month!)

Makes me wonder why they bother. I'm looking forward to the delicious loot though.

Ugh trophy pushing is tough! I literally have put my DE storage outside the walls to get the trophies and a dude came along and 3 starred me. Like I can't give the freaking stuff away! I keep getting knocked back cos my attacks are uniformly rubbish and I am frittering elixir! I'm determined though. I will reach Champs! Just deciding whether to hang around in Masters where the bases are tough but the loot bonuses are good or drop down and target easy bases with cheaper armies...

I made it to masters III with my TH outside my walls. But since I've been there (been there about a week) I find that I get fewer trophies three starring a base than I lose when someone snipes my TH. How is that possible? Though I'm about to drop trophies as I'm upgrading my TH to 9 and have nothing else to spend my resources on until I get there. Though not sure I want to lose the winning bonus for Masters III 100K gold & elixir each and 500 DE. Almost make a profit on my gowipe attacks because of the bonus.

I tend to keep my th outside cos I find that people will snipe it and leave me alone. I tried leaving my DE storage outside but people still attack me anyway so I stopped doing it.

So I recently decided to stop pursuing Champs and to just go for loot, letting the trophies take me where they will. I am a lot happier since deciding this. I thought you all should know.

wheni was maxed out on elixir trophey pushing was fun. but now I don't have enougn ov the stuff so going back into raid mode. should have AQ lvl 3 shortly andonly been a the 9 for only a few days.

I am seriously considering doing the same. I just haven't been able to break out of master lv2

Honestly, every time I got past 2800 trophies I'd mess up & drop loads - like 50+ and I was really frustrated. Figured if I was getting that annoyed it wasn't worth playing.

So I stopped caring. I'm slowly dropping and getting loads of loot along the way. As soon as the research centre is free again I'll be able to upgrade lightning spell, which we have been able to do since the last update.

Don't you just hate it when your base is an easy one star but a tough two star and once the other clan snags a decisive win everyone and their uncle takes a run at your base for the loot moneys?

I'm currently upgrading one of my dark barracks to unlock my last troop lava hounds. I'm pretty excited. Has anyone played around with air attacks using lightning and earthquake spells against TH 9s and/or 10s? Mixed hounds and dragons? What are people's favorite air attacks with these types of troops?
