Mixed armies are the way to three star attack. Using either one golem (called cold blooded or cb for some stupid reason) or two golems (called shattered) plus your heroes to take out the enemy queen and at least one air defense is the best way to use laloon in most cases.

Using cb or shattered plus hogs is the best way to hog. Basically the queen is a bitch and of you don't deal with her she will ruin you. Unless you are hitting an underpowered base, then just go in with quad laloon or even penta.

Also, I am not a fan of requiring people to hit straight across in wars. Most of the time that is not a three star strategy. You don't want them going too low either though. Source- I am in two 100+ win war clans.

My main is currently in the second sons, which is the feeder for the true sons. My alt is still in banditos.

Vengeance we use clashcaller, which is a bit of a pain but works well. Each war someone generates a new code to log in for that war, then people call their attack. You can set timers so calls expire if people don't use them. It is an app you can get for iPhone or android, you can probably log on from a computer too but I never have.

Seems like that require everyone to pay attention and respond. In my experience people don't do that. Source: every war we have someone does something dumb despite clan mails/cclan chat etc.

ClashCaller is what is recommended on Reddit as well. I think that the core of our clan would be able use that. Unfortunately like Tiste said there is always someone doing something stupid in our clan despite warnings and emails. It usually isn't the same person (at least not for long) so I can't just kick them and be done with it.

We are a little over halfway to level four.

As far as enjoyment of attacking goes, I will always love gowiwipe. However, it is a two star strategy, very difficult to three star a th9 with it. We have banned gowipe and gowiwi for th9s for this reason. Everyone must learn three star attacks.

My favorite of these is a cb laloon or shattered laloon. I'm not great with them but am getting better. Most people use this or cb/shattered goho.

My alt is not in a three star war clan, so I am still allowed to use gowipe there. It's fun, but I have not maxed my troops yet so it isn't as good as it could be.

I like to use GoHoWiWi with 1 golumn 20 hogs 2 witches in the CC and the rest wiz and a few archers to pull the CC troops out. I have had pretty good success with it.

I think I need to upgrade hogs. I love GoWiPe but I rarely get 3 stars though what I try to do is leave it a bit to drop heroes so they can be the mop up crew.

I love gowipe but it is tough to three star with it unless you are hitting too low. Pekkas are too slow and get hung up on walls. Hogs or loons are the best three star strategies partly because they eliminate walls from consideration.

It is crazy how the game is evolving. It wasn't that long ago that in a serious war clan a 2 star on a th9 was a success and a 2 star in a th10 was a great attack. Now they expect three stars on every th9, and at least a 2 on all th10s, and you see those get 3 starred sometimes too.

I am also trying to get people for my alt clan, banditos. It is not as hardcore, you can use whatever attacks you want. Looking for th8 and 9, or a kickass 7. Mostly 8 and 9 though.

first time I used that particular attack. I'd say most secure for 2 star is gowipe. I'm using that with hogs or loons when th is down coming in from opposite side

Which nets me 3 stars 2 out of 3 times
