Yeah, that's what I mean - if I drop myself to lowest in the clan, as long as you pick a group that is a number that is above mine (like, if I'm #26, if you choose to have a clan war with a 25 person clan) then I won't be included.

The biggest complaint I have now with the game is how long it's taking to spend my hard earned raided loot. I have another day before my TH levels up and right now all I can upgrade are my gold mines and elixir generators. They are so cheap compared to everything else and that is the last thing I need is more resources at the moment. I know once my upgrades are done and I can drop 400-700K on an upgrade it will disappear fast but with the rate I'm raiding I'll likely max out again before I free up a builder to spend them. Must resist urge to spend actual money on this game.

I don't pick a group. If there are 28 members in our clan the top 25 go to war. If there are exactly 30 members then all of them go to war...

Tiste I am in the middle of upgrading all of my air defenses for that same reason. But I am only doing it after I got done upgrading my wiz towers to lv6. Now all of my splash attacks are upgraded so air defenses are next.

Well it might take a while then as every time I get to 200K gold I upgrade a wall but so I never have that much. I know I can use elixir to upgrade walls too but I'm saving for my 2nd DE drill to upgrade.

Yeah I haven't started on my walls yet. I figure I will get all of my defenses up and then go after the walls with both gold and elixer.

Does anyone have any good attacking strategies? I like using healers and wizards but it doesn't always work. I usually get at least 1 star but a couple of giant bombs will take the wizards out too quickly. Also wizards are a lot more expensive than say archers (though their destructive power is a lot more!) I am hoping, once my AQ gets to level 5, to start using dark elixir troops a lot more.

In war I have been 3 starring any TH8 I have come across. I have no defense. All attack. I mean no giants, no Golem, I don't even draw out cc.

I go in with 6 valkyries, 2 Pekkas, 18 or so wizards and about 6 wall breakers. The rest barbs. 2 heals one rage. It just powers right through a level. I use heals in valks and send them off in a pack of 6.

I start attack with king and barbs to get defense focused on King. Then use wall breakers. Then the kings rage. Then drop all 6 valks 2 pekkas and a line of wizards. As they go towards center I use a rage and let them kill cc and do utter carnage and I wait to see when valks need healing

Sounds expensive but worth a shot. I need to upgrade my dark barracks & my rage/heal spells. And wall breakers. Could be a while.

Got my fourth builder today. Now to start saving up my cash for the TH Lvl 7 upgrade. I haven't gotten all of my walls up the the pink crystal yet but think I want to start playing with my new toys first. Plus I'll have 5 days to twiddle my thumbs to finish those upgrades.

Yeah, I did TH7 not too long ago, and I found that I was able to upgrade all my walls from gold to pink during the time it took for my TH to upgrade.
