So, not sure what to do next... have saved lots of resources and unsure about how to spend the elixir. Wouldn't mind upgrading the dark elixir drill or dark barracks. However I have enough to upgrade to level 5 archers now (when the level 5 wizard upgrade is finished) and I nearly have enough to upgrade to level 3 dragons.

Not sure what to do! Also nearly have enough gold to up upgrade any of my defence weapons - which one would be most useful? Currently have 1 mortar upgrading to level 5 & one wizard tower upgrading to level 5. All archer towers and canons are level 9.

I think that archers have the best return ratio.

I looked at your clan and your archer towers are lv8 you have two wiz towers lv 3. I would upgrade one of those.

Yeah you are right. I am getting some of my defences as high as possible though so while I have the shield on and the resources there I want to take advantage. For example I can gather enough to upgrade a l3 wizard tower fairly easily but not a l5 mortar. I am waiting til my wizards upgrade cos I may have enough to upgrade them again to l6. Will see what happens!

I am saving up for lv 5 archers. I am going to upgrade my last archer tower to lv 9. Then finish upgrading my mortars to lv 6.

I kind of feel like just upgrading straight to TH7 and going from there, skipping 75% or so of TH6.

I know that it seems like a good thing to do and that is what I did in my main account. Try to resist that feeling. In my second account I built everything up before making upgrading and I think that it is going to pay off more in a while. If you take the time at TH6 then you can raid and build everything up quicker. At TH lv 7 you are going to have to raid players who have bigger and better defenses to get the same amount of resources and so it will end up costing you more to raid.

I actually decided to move my TH outside of my defenses so that I could focus on protecting my collectors and usually only lose a grand or so of each when I was attacked. To do that you need to not care that much about trophies because you will lose almost every time. But if you raid often then you can slowly gain group there. I think that building up your defenses early is the best way to go for when you get to the higher levels.

When war raiding, always pull and destroy the enemy clan castle troops before attacking, get the heroes too if you can.

Hey Venge I'm on holiday in the States for about 3 weeks from tomorrow. I may leave the clan for that time as I don't want to be seen to not be taking part in the wars. My main flight is on Thursday & I won't be online for the whole time. I will log in when I get onto Wifi but dunno how often that will occur.

You guys recommend I upgrade all my resource producers (mines and elixir things) as far as I can before TH7? That's going to be the big timesink unless I also upgrade all 3 army camps...
