Really curious to see how everyone would cast their favorite (and most hated) characters. I thought I saw a similar thread a long time ago, can't seem to locate it so decided to make this one.

Thats a really hard question. I'm uncertain of some of these characters complexion, but I will use the images in my head.
Shadowthrone - Bill Nighy
Ganoes Paran - Jamie Bell
Kalam - Wesley Snipes (J/K) Can't think of a single actor for this one, would probably need a new talent.
Need to think more on this.

You guys may find some amusement in this thread:

There's a couple of others along a similar theme floating around somewhere if you can be bothered to look.
Enjoy.

I usually apply some actors faces on to the characters, probably due to a lack of imagination. Most of them were randomly projected on to the characters because I was watching shows/movies in which these particular actors starred as I was reading the books. Here's some of them:
Ganoes - James Badge Dale (he's a bit too old, but still)
Shadowthrone - Giancarlo Esposito
Rake - Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje (in heavy make-up, of course)
Cotillion - Michael Emerson
Korbolo Dom - Carlos Bernard (Tony from 24, a little blue face-paint, and he'd be perfect)
Kindly - Paul Mccrane (kind of typecast, because his character in ER is pretty similar to Kindly)
Blistig - Terry O'Quinn
Pores - Titus Welliver
Whiskeyjack - Timothy Omundson
Spinnock - Tony Todd
Kallor - Bill Nighy
Nait - Walton Goggins
Balm - Keegan Michael Key
Coll - Ralph Ineson
Cord - Robert Patrick
Kiska - Evangeline Lily
Keneb - Mitch Pillegi
Dujek - Bryan Cranston
Baudin - Terry Kinney (doesn't look anything like the character description, but Baudin and Tim McManus from Oz are equal in intensity, IMO
)
Kulp - John Hawkes
Leoman - Naveen Andrews
Gesler - Michael Cudlitz (again typecast, because he's basically playing Gesler on The Walking Dead these days)
Stormy - Kristoffer Hivju (obvious choice)
Murillio - Dominic Monaghan
Hedge - Steven Ogg (Trevor from GTAV!!)
Rhulad - Daniel Radcliffe (I would really like to see him cast the Harry Potter-shackles and tackle a really dark character, I think he's got the acting-chops to do it)
Silchas Ruin - Vondie Curtis Hall (again, in heavy make-up, of course)
Duiker - Peter Francis James
Kruppe - David Mitchell
Fisher - Nestor Carbonell
Cuttle - John Terry
Pearl - Noah Wyle (pretty-boy with a dark side and a soft spot)
Gorlas - Richard Madden (he played a hero on GoT, let's see him do a villian)
Draconus - Sean Bean (because, let's face it, his presence is mandatory, and he doesn't die in this one
)
Tehol - David Tennant (unoriginal choice, but fuck it)
Errastas - Malcolcm MacDowell
Sechul Lath - Christopher Heyerdahl (the motherfucking Swede)
Spindle - Crispin Glover
Antsy - Scott Grimes
Lostara - Zuleikha Robinson
Bottle - DJ Qualls
Faradan - Michonne from the Walking Dead, (I don't remember her name)
Gruntle - Dominic West
Barathol - Eamonn Walker
Kalam - Chiwetel Ejofor
Quick Ben - Lance Reddick (who else?)
Rillish - Kirk Acevedo
Yeull - Ian McShane
Ussü - David Caruso (it's time for another comeback)
Graymane - Michael Massee
Toc The Elder - Michael Hogan (mostly because of the voice)
Toc The Younger - Adrian Grenier
Tool - Misha Collins
Onrack - Barry Pepper
Mallick - Stephen Root
Kuru Qan - Steven Erikson (because, let's face it, he needs to make an on-screen appearance)

Chiwetel Ejiofor as Kalam is an inspired choice, as is Radcliffe as Rhulad. High five.
Same for David Mitchell as Kruppe - though I had actually imagined him as Shadowthrone, because of the high pitched voice and fidgeting. How about Robert Webb and Stephen Merchant as Scorch and Leff then?
I have always thought of Rowan Atkinson as Bugg/ Mael. And a back-and-forth between him and David Tennant would be great.
Billy West and Mark Hamill for various creature and beastie voices, of course.

Vondie Hall would be a good selection for a number of different characters. Never thought of him as Silchas, but his face has such character he could play a lot of the ancients.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Might make a good Cartheron. I'd also like Donnie Yen as Dassem.
