Here is the entire panicked conversation I had with Gust Hubb after Korabas revealed. The best thing that could have happened was I was around, on thread, and deleted that post, but too many people saw it.

Yeah, which in retrospect doesn't make a lot of sense because the RI don't have names. But I think the trouble is that while leaders are not allowed to reveal for very very good reasons, the RI's would probably reveal, even accidentally, at some point using the "well you can kill me, but I'm just an RI" line.

How about this Shin. Remove that ability that back kills scum, with the explanation, on thread, that identity = any identifying information. Korb will still be playable, albeit unable to knock out scum.

How about this Shin. Remove that ability that back kills scum, with the explanation, on thread, that identity = any identifying information. Korb will still be playable, albeit unable to knock out scum.

This will probably be the best way to save the game. Maybe I should give him a vig or something as compensation.

I thought about it and thought about it, and realized I couldn't just leave that to be a toothless rule. I think it's better this way, since it's more in the spirit of how I intended the game originally.

I don't see someone like Galayn killing Monok.

Ampelas is calling for Korabas to be lynched - could be a tactic to give them a way of saying 'hey, I'm town, otherwise why would I be calling for this!', but my first thought is to assume that Kenshiro would stay largely silent on the matter of Korabas and see how things play out.

So now we have:

Rikkter
Shadow
Tiamatha

Of these, Shadow and Tiam were both around at end of day 1 when the feeling around Monok shifted. Bek and Rikkter were both on just after timeout. Bek and Rikkter were both, if I remember right, supportive of my decision to look into Galayn, Ruse, and Korabas (after ruling them out), which seems a wash now.

So I think Bek and Rikkter are worth looking into.

I agree that I don't think we need to lynch him - let him be a free kill that will tie up Kenshiro for tonight. Who knows, maybe we even have a healer (I doubt it, but its possible)! Since we have two other gang leaders alive it is safe. Worst comes to worst, I can deliberately do something really scummy to get myself lynched and you can reveal lover plus clarify to the rest of town afterwards.

Hmm. Is meta discussion about the game designer allowed? Shin loves words; their meanings and shades. Shin enjoys fake reveals. He does not hesitate to modkill over a broken rule. He will err on the side of the player if there is a grey area.

Korabas didn't reveal his identity; he claimed a role. By the wording of the original PM, he didn't break the rules. So it is possible to read this comment as a clarification of the rule.

In my opinion this clarification by PS does not verify Korabas' claim and would hesitate at drawing any conclusions based upon the premise that it does CI Korabas.

gnaw, you know me so well. (I'm guessing from our co-modding). In this case, it does verify Korabas' claim, but yes, I believe that in this case the error is mine for not being crystal clear in my wording.
