I was wondering why none of you Borderlands fiends had made this thread yet.

Here's another video with Pitchford pitching the game.



I am pretty psyched for this game. I was sad that they hadn't given us any DLC where we got to go to the moon and the Hyperion space station and now we get an entire game revolving around this concept.

People are already making comparisons to Batman: Arkham Origins and Saints Row 4 but I think this game sounds like it has enough meat to be a stand alone title. I think the new game mechanics, using air as a ressource, sounds like something innovative and game changing rather than just rehashing popular parts of the older games.

I've dug Borderlands 2 back out so that I can at least finish it before this comes out. I was working on it, but then FFX and FFX-2 Remastered came out, and so most of my video-gaming attention has been dedicated to that lately. But I spent pretty much all day Sunday playing it, and gods I love these games. Don't know why I ever put it down!

Haven't seen a demo of Claptrap's skill tree yet. Of the other three (Athena, Wilhelm and Nisha), I am leaning towards starting with Athena (with Wilhelm a close runner up). But more then likely my first choice will be Claptrap, because he's got to be awesome, right?Posted Image

Sheriff of Lynchwood has a general boost rather than a specific tool for her action skill. Helps with targeting and damage.

Man, I am so stoked to play this! I think I'm going to roll out Claptrap with my initial play through. And man! is there a more memorable character in video games then Mr. Torgue? He rocks!

After watching the above video, I'm more interested in playing Wilhelm or the Sheriff chick than I previously was. But come on, you know that there's gonna be all kinds of Claptrap players out there, and I'll probably be one of them!

Sheriff of Lynchwood for me. I love the Jakobs pistols.

How far did everyone get into Borderlands 2? I think I got halfway into TVHM. Need a mate to play it with really to make it interesting. Tried getting my brother into it and only got as far as the first boss.

TPS is released in the UK at the end of the week.

Managed to pick up the Borderlands 1 and 2 double pack for £7 (got 3 copies so I can play with my wife and friends(I got the digital download during ), hopefully they will all like and i may find TPS in my Christmas stocking.
From what I've seen of TPS teasers and gameplay videos it does look fun as hell and hopefully an improvement on teh already brilliant Borderland 2.

Anyone still playing Borderlands 2? I've not long started it but I am really enjoying it.

OK so this Borderlands thing I've been seeing mentioned a lot over the years. Could one or more of you adherents present to me why I should play it?
