Premiership run in. run-in?

Liverpool has zero problem generating offense early or mid. They have a problem with giving up goals and turning the ball over with people out of position.
It's very much a glass canon team and one I've taken much enjoyment in seeing win time after time this year because it's so different from the usual winning teams (cough Chelsea cough).

3rd og this season. But once again I'd blame Johnson, so many goals coming down his side. All 3 at palace glen was culpable.
problem is, sakhos not good enough to replace skrtel

Be interesting to see how United deal with Van Gaal next season. I just hope if we don't win it (and there is a high chance of that being the case) we give him a chance.

United are in need of a total.rebuild. That doesn't happen over night.
brace yourself for another year of low expectations. One thing in your favour, no Europa league. Benefited us massively this year

Yeah I was quite glad when we didn't get in. We just need to get on with starting from scratch... The problem is a lot of our idiot fans want instant solutions and there aren't any, but they don't see that...

The biggest problem is a lot of your fanbase has never had to deal with failure.
they've only known the fergie years, in fact they didn't even experience fergies first 4 years where he was on the verge of being sacked.
its a hip new world out there kids, deal with it.

I know, but a lot of fans seem to think that after Fergie all we had to do was keep going and winning. Everyone else made drastic changes and it paid off. Moyes, while I think he is a decent bloke and all, was not strong enough to keep the divas in Uniteds team under control, especially not compared to Fergie. Van Gaal seems like he will be better at this.

Its pointless to compare the two, totally different players.
could giggs take on the DM role as effectively as Gerrard? No
could Gerrard bounce down the wings like giggs did? No
pointless comparison is pointless.
they didn't just change the manager though, moyes chopped the entire backroom staff as well, it was change on a whole other level. Plus too much of a nice guy. No player is bigger than the club, Rooney thinks he is.
