Did i just hear GL and MoNok agree on something on thread that if we extend monok as killer and GL as symp starts a distraction train on me?
Wow. Sure i read the game wrong initially but i played my hand more consistently than GL and more transparantly than MO. I just loved that you two had the guts to openly drive a deflection on me while supporting each othr. What happened to all that beef yo?
What is your case? I find you both scummy therefore i must die? Im not unique in this. Infact i was led to believe a vote on Monok made sense. Why then argue the train as my responsibility? Everyone that pegs GL as scummy naturally assumes either he or better yet his master needs to go. Monok voted GL now he supports him? right now im lookibg at these two very closely.
Day one flimsy cases being what they are i have reason to. the sheer quantity of Crap from GL is thinner than anything my vote on Monok is.

I don't even know what this is.
I don't think you actually read the thread at all. Why so defensive? I am the only one voting for you. Have a look at the reasons why, quote my posts, disagree with them. This pile of shit above is awful!

1.Misunderstandings are common place in Mafia. Atleast for me they are. can't see much fault in assuming what I do. its a stretch to assume I have ulterior motives when I did so. Since everyone disagrees I can accept that and move on. Are you working with extra information? its something I admit I suspected early on but it was shaky suspicions at best. You use the underlined as a point of rebuttal. Feels like alot of certainty to me on something I've barely begun to suspect.
2. I made no refusal to return, simply that when I did it would be to make a vote action. it was not an ultimate refusal to participate though. I can do what I like, hence this post addressing your response. Unlike talkatives in this game I learn far more by watching and listening. I want my posts to be direct. Fluffing about paints a target on your back, this is why you, Tiam and GL read as scummy to me. I will respond if it suits me but not in a drive to get words slung back and forth. That for me is a bad approach and I'll stick to that assumption even though as we're apparently already on level 2 I can worry less about being part of the drive to achieve it.
I must highlight this level is not useful to town. Day 2: we either contain it here or we shoot REALLY hard to reach Level 5. I don't think the latter is a smart option but I'll let the group decide on that. I'll be the guy in SH yelling I told you so.
I'd blame semantics there. Everyone, if not individually, is even more reason for worry. PS can clear it up for us I hope so I really just operate with above reasoning. I see no harm in doing so.
PS also said he will post the levels of each player. If this is true I think there is an individual aspect to it but again I am blaming semantics. Same strategy remains. We want a higher vote to lynch ratio. Attaining levels off of thread content alone we are already close to a point where level two is attained. More reason to vote players like you out. Day one then push for level 5 Day 2. I am open to changing my opinion Tiam. Nothing is set in stone. Just don't expect another post from me till I am ready to switch votes.
Edit: close to
Like I said I am open to changing my opinion. I came on mainly to agree with the argument on MO. Would be great to get the killer early, if there REALLY is substance to the signalling argument a CF is good proof. It'd help ease my worries about amp significantly and place GL and Tiam in a scummier category. How much do we get on a CF? did PS mention that explicitly? I guess the best vote is on MO if he's being signalled. I will switch and support this

Vote Monok Ochem
Just saw PS post
Despite Tiams multiple responses to my posts above I'm still not quite satisfied but PS got in and clarified the Leveling thing and warning a lil more. I'm happier about my vote switch.
that his intention was to agree with the posts about MO. That he had worries over Amp and if MO comes up innocent he will put Tiam and I in a "scummier category"
Nope. Bek's disliked the 3 high posters and had no thoughts on Monok earlier but now he switches and follows the vote from Korabas.
It feels forced and strange given his earlier posts.

misunderstands the OP. this almost has to be deliberate. seriously? you think that each player is going to rack up 500+ posts in this game? he may be confused by what seems to be insinuated by p-s - which is that although everyone levels up at 120 posts aggregate and 4 deaths aggregate (go ahead and argue 4 deaths per player, bek....), there also must be some kind of mechanic that allows certain players to level up outside of these two ways. otherwise why would p-s bother posting who is at what level at the beginning of day and night? it would be pointless if we all already knew we were on the same level all the time. so there must be something hidden here and bek is not only missing it but he jumped off the deep end without a lifejacket in the wrong direction
his refusal to show back up and talk. this is as bad as the first one. i don't care if you think your right or whatever, i don't think we (as malazan mafia players) are willing to afford anyone the luxury of showing up with one post, making a bad case on bad information, dropping a vote, and peacing out with no intention of returning unless his other lynch targets are possible trains. this is so arrogant as to border on stupid.

was Locks a cross post, or a direct response to GLs case (wifom of the highest degree I am aware). But all said I want more from Lock on this one. Was he distracting from anything at all?

@GL - there's also Ampelas before Denul. You can write it off as a joke-vote, but it seemed at least half-serious to me. Furthermore, you aren't just vote-hopping as many players like to do, because you have separate removals long before new vote changes.
Part of my impression is simply that you are pushing tons of questions at everyone on-thread (a common tactic when you want to build up a reputation of being extremely prolific in helpful without being seen as controlling or spamming the thread), though that is certainly a part of it. The voting Denul because he hasn't posted yet, then removing shortly thereafter because you figure he'll get modkilled is very weird. And then there is that potential sort of slip-up where you equivocate about having a level 5 ability, even when the OP and you yourself have said before all townies do.
All of those are uncertain, but together they make you IMO the best chance of scum today.

Lock, you're weird. You want complete conviction on day 1? That's bullshit, I don't know enough and there hasn't been enough of anything for me to have conviction. That supposed "sort-of reason" is my actual thoughts, I'm not going to make up an essay about how GL's use of past particip articles makes him 106% definitive scum. That you think I should have to... is rather stupid actually. Extraordinarily stupid, IMO.
You're picking a fight here where there really isn't one, and where there isn't much of a reason to have one. That sounds more like fake "substance" than anything.

You voted me for being "wishy Washy" but yet you say you cannot have conviction? You had one vote on you and you panicked. MO and I both had two votes and you voted for me. So i don't know if you are scared of an MO lynch or panicky scum.
I don't even know what Bek is. He comes across as someone who does not read the thread and is very self centered.
So my top 3 for scum are Bek, Alkend and MO slighlty only by reactions of Alkend.

GL clearly demonstrates his understanding that all townies have an ability per the OP:
you still need to reread the OP.
everyone increases a level after 4 deaths as well, meaning the post requirement to hit lvl 5 is lower than 600 posts.
That would mean 4 people will never reach their level 5. It depends on how valuable you see 4 town having a one off level 5 ability as opposed to 1 town getting theirs. If we all post frequently and discuss these type of things we will not only grow closer to our goal but there may also be slips along the way.
Then this weird line is what I consider the potential slip-up (underlining added by me):
What do you mean misinterpreting the OP? I understand it well enough. I also haven't mentioned what type of roles town may have, I don't know where you pulled that one from. I have said I want us to level up to get our abilities quickly, it does not mean to say I have an ability.
Maybe slip-up is the wrong term for it, as its not a blatant scum knowledge reveal, but just the way this bit is said is very odd for an inno to say since all innos have one level 5 ability, and we know it is the same for all innos from the OP. So to phrase it like that is very odd and I can't help but think it is a slight lapse from GL in that he is scum who dropped his fake inno persona for a moment as he typed that.

I doubt Amp and GL are partners. I would be hard pressed to believe 1 of our noisy players are scum let alone two, especially so intimately intertwined. The problem is that the big bads rarely seem to be blatantly lynchable on day 1, leaving symps to ply their trade if need be.
Although, I swear if there wasn't such a weird interaction/non-interaction between Tiam and MO, I would be making a case on one of the noisy ones, particularly GL (in addition to spending a lot of time misunderstanding the OP, he seems to be harping an awful lot on townie roles).

He stated that he would vote for me due to me signalling Tiam. Why would you vote for the symp of the master. OMGUS mixed in with belief that Amp's reasoning for voting me over Tiam was off. It was not a signal, it was a movie reference which they did not get. Not enough to keep my vote for the rest of the day though.
Now the next thing you say is that I ask a ton of questions. Yes. You are right. How do we move on without them? If someone (like Okral Lom) posts for the first time and we ask them questions it should get them involved in the game. Tiam asked the same question of Okral Lom and he gave an answer, which in turn gives everyone else a feel for that player. So what are you getting at there?
When it comes to abilities and what each player has in their locker, of course I equivocate. We don't want scum knowing what sort of roles are out there and and give them easy targets. If you wanted me to be more clear then you should have asked, but then why would I answer you. Fishing for role information from me, that is indeed scummy on your behalf.
That combined with your reactions to Lock's vote makes you look more scummy than me my friend. I like who you tried to do this as I was leaving my computer, it's hard to respond from the phone, but I did give myself 30 minutes to see who tried to pull a fast one. It is interesting it was you.

OMGUS!
Yes, that was an attempt at substance. Are you saying I should not try to post any substance? You would rather I just make "Checking in, but I have nothing to say" posts?
I'm saying your substance is lacking substance and therefore looks suspiciously like someone just trying to appear helpful without actually contributing.
I'm thinking Alkend has been one of the more astute players at this early juncture in the game. Thus, your suspicion of both them and Monok (which I still don't understand) make me suspicious of you.

His first two posts were both wrong, and had a lot of bad content. He is quick to remove vote from Tiam but says
I will switch and support this
Remove Vote
Vote Monok Ochem
Just saw PS post
Despite Tiams multiple responses to my posts above I'm still not quite satisfied but PS got in and clarified the Leveling thing and warning a lil more. I'm happier about my vote switch.
that his intention was to agree with the posts about MO. That he had worries over Amp and if MO comes up innocent he will put Tiam and I in a "scummier category"
Nope. Bek's disliked the 3 high posters and had no thoughts on Monok earlier but now he switches and follows the vote from Korabas.
It feels forced and strange given his earlier posts.

problems i have with bek ---
misunderstands the OP. this almost has to be deliberate. seriously? you think that each player is going to rack up 500+ posts in this game? he may be confused by what seems to be insinuated by p-s - which is that although everyone levels up at 120 posts aggregate and 4 deaths aggregate (go ahead and argue 4 deaths per player, bek....), there also must be some kind of mechanic that allows certain players to level up outside of these two ways. otherwise why would p-s bother posting who is at what level at the beginning of day and night? it would be pointless if we all already knew we were on the same level all the time. so there must be something hidden here and bek is not only missing it but he jumped off the deep end without a lifejacket in the wrong direction
his refusal to show back up and talk. this is as bad as the first one. i don't care if you think your right or whatever, i don't think we (as malazan mafia players) are willing to afford anyone the luxury of showing up with one post, making a bad case on bad information, dropping a vote, and peacing out with no intention of returning unless his other lynch targets are possible trains. this is so arrogant as to border on stupid.

Tiam is my current vote. If we get trains on one of the other noisier players like Ampelas or GL I'll support it with my vote, otherwise I think I said all I need to.

I'm curious as to.Locks motivation.
appears, drops a vote on a (as so far today) non candidate then pisses off. Not feeling any of the other options Lock?
GLs case on Bek is quite logical, though it pains me to add yet another to a list of possibly maybe, suggested by.my main possibly.maybe
was Locks a cross post, or a direct response to GLs case (wifom of the highest degree I am aware). But all said I want more from Lock on this one. Was he distracting from anything at all?

Day 1, looking away from the loud people we get Alkend who checks in, comments on Tapper's acronym and then this post is their attempt at substance.

Yeah I don't understand that vote either. I guess it is one of those everyone should be looked at votes. But it is just kind of tossed in there.

My sentiments exactly. I do read the thread and half of it is chockful of your "cases" which are far more contrived and over extended. Dont play dumb and act like you do not understand what i mean. Almost everyone else notices how ridiculous your thread content actually is. Then Monok goes in to voice suppport for your argument on thread and its just as good as an endorsement.
If you wrote less and read more maybe you wouldn't increasingly seem like the scummiest player in thread. If you need quotes you'll have em as soon as i get some supper and settle down before a computer.

Seriously. Think this votes long overdue. Call it omgus if you like, i think half the content on thread supports it. Think Monok Will not get much heat on him while GL practically radiates scumminess.

whilst I approve of voting GL, his rabid monkey chained to the keyboard style, reaching and wild finger pointing have made me increasingly happy with my vote, I really cant make head nor tail of Beks posts, Ive listed GL as.my.top suspect, and voted him, how in the hell am I buddying up to him (that's how I'm reading your posts, please correct me if this is a misconstrue of what you're angling for)
A quick skim read, alkends response to Lock was quite thorough after his omgus post, possibly more so than needed but I'm still not satisfied with Locks take on it, need to reread on the laptop after work. Should be around for the last 3 hours of day
