It is the 31st of March, 2016.

New York, the meeting room of the UN Security Council.

"Councilmen. I bring to your attention the subject of this extraordinary meeting.
We all face our continued inability to fight international crime outside of our own borders. We can treat the symptoms, but not the source. Interpol does what it can, but it cannot run major fact finding operations. With this bill, originally created by the esteemed dignitaries of Sweden, we appear to have a solution. Combined Intelligence Operations have yielded remarkable results in the past, at a much lower cost and with less bloodshed than intervention has ever done. I ask you to endorse the bill."

Five pens sign at the same time. Smaller countries with non-permanent seats sign one by one, in alphabetical order. The funds for the Covert Response and Forward Team iare solidified. An organisation and a headquarters is established. Personell is found, and while everyone in it spies on each other, SpyCRAFT, as it becomes known, starts of well enough.

It is now the 31st of March, 2019.

Hong Kong. A field team is set to take out Hau Fat, a very persuasive Triad kingpin who controls half of the politicians in the city. The Ming Mastermind, as the tabloids call him. Opium, murder, stock fraud, human trafficking.

Let the games Beijing. Begin, I mean.

For those of you unfamiliar with Spycraft:

This game incorporates a levelling mechanic.
Everyone starts at level 0.
For every 120 posts or every 4 deaths, everyone goes up a level.
P-S announces what level everyone is at the start of night and start of day.
Going up a level may unlock an ability.

This game is relatively low in abilities, I'd label it at TMDI 2 for the first levels of the game. This rises to TMDI 7.

Town roles have no abilities at level 0-4, and get a (one-time) ability at level 5.
What scum has, is unknown. Of course.

Second rule: no reveals of nationalities or of powers you do not yet have.

Rule 3: Spam is... not encouraged.

Added information:

Each player has a name, a continent/state/federation and a third word (RI for town) in their PM.
The name is for scenes, the state/continent/federation are ability keys, the word for fluff/faction.

This is my first Spycraft game, if one doesn't count the Spycraft element in Mafia 100.

Oh hi Lock!

Oh wait, you're Tiamatha. Was that 500 posts leveling or something?

I haven't played one before. Seems pretty straightforward though. Level up abilities, town vs scum.

Yeah, something like that. I figure, any game which had an element that made it into Mafia 100 must be good.

Spycraft 1 was probably the best game I designed. *nostalgia*

Pfft, who needs ideal design and balance when you can have insanely complex and convoluted instead?
