Anomaly is phenomenal in 3v3. Very much a shotgun/fusion map but it reminds me a lot of Midship from the Halo days in that you can shoot/run across the centre to finish someone off or harass them.

If one team is playing together when their opponents aren't though, they will utterly dominate. That's often true, but it's really true in Skirmish on Anomaly. XD

My thoughts exactly, a few months back it was nothing but Voidfang week after week, now we're getting nothing but Starfire, I'm still waiting for Heart of the Praxic Fire...

So I was kicking myself for not buying Icebreaker the other week. Did 1 round of control and bagged myself it and a legendary ship at the same time! Afterwards I ran VoG in hard mode, got Aspect of Glass ship,a sparrow, a class item and... THE VEX FUCKING MYTHOCLAST!

Max is 323, it's just ridiculous in PvP, I never seem to loose shoot outs with it.

I've noticed!

Took it for a spin in the crucible and it was all over the place.

The Mythoclast is really unstable until you've got the stability upgrades too

...you haven't played any Dark Below content? O.o but that guy is really fun, especially when you need to farm hive kills...

Haha yeah, have you done the Eris Morn quest he's involved in? It ultimately rewards you with legendary gloves.

Yeah, that was a pain in the arse. I really wish the VoG raid armour was maxed out, the Hezen armour looks awesome but only takes you to 30, I've only got the helmet and boots but will hopefully get the rest soon!

Ive done the campaign with this have no desire to get into the multiplayer aspect of it in the crucible and was thinking of taking it back and trading it in. Is there anything im missing I feel like ive missed loads as ive been playing it in a very linear way.

No, you're not missing anything but the loot grind and the raids/strikes grinds. Most people still playing are doing so for the shooting play, and honestly even that is not stellar. I'm keeping it because ice never traded in a game and probably never will - not enough value - and it might get better/is the only X1 co-op game to play atm.

If you don't have reasons like that to play it/want to try the mp, yeah, get rid of it. Maybe Destiny 2 will be better for you? XD

I wouldn't trade it in until you've at least played the raid. It's definitely the best part of the game and is a totally different experience playing with six people communicating the whole time. Run the weekly strikes to get coins for exotics and level up factions far quicker. I'd highly recommend destiny lfg.com for finding a group for raids and strikes, very quick and easy. I'm also with Silencer that I never really trade in games since you get so little for it, I'd rather have the option to go back to it if I wanted.

I'm not sure the raid alone is sufficient to justify playing the game long-term, but it's worth a try if you can get a good group with similar goals (e.g. you want to play it properly your first time, not speed run it). Rather than giving up on it without trying the end-game grind/content.

However if the gameplay hasn't really taken you, I doubt the raid will really change your mind. There aren't any truly different aspects to it that alter the fundamental layout of the experience, it's more like a pinnacle of the established gameplay plus one or two other little bits that are slightly new. But nothing groundbreaking.

So, yeah. XD

Thanks for the advice.

Think I will trade it in while it has some value. Destiny was a big next gen title so even though I know alot of people who play it they all have xbones. As a single player campaign it was nothing compared to the Halo games and it was a bad move putting so much of the lore online to be chased up rather than have an in game journal like ME3 which ive started playing.

Never really got into it tbh which is a shame as I really feel like I havnt got alot of its features. But if like you all say they focus on the multiplayer aspect ill just trade it in.

Shame really but put the money towards new Borderlands game maybe.

Don't worry, you're not alone thinking the campaign was tripe and the grimoire should have been in-game (at least).

It's honestly a dropped ball for Bungie, as the only thing up to their standard is the gunplay. Everything else is mediocre and has oversights. Even the multiplayer is nothing compared to Reach (and that's not including the lag-like thing it has going on). Very much feels like a testbed game to me.
Hopefully next time we get a better campaign, bigger, more variable world spaces, better level distribution, more variable weapons, crucible done right, integrated world elements and lore, no redundant loading screens, etc, etc. The list of "to be improved" is rather long. Certainly they need to fix the content-price-release timeline ratio, because they're making us pay too much, too late for too little at the moment...

I got Ruin Wings from the exotic engram, I'm tempted to pick up the Don't Touch Me gauntlets and make a second character. I've only ever played a warlock which I've got maxed out. I've picked up a whole bunch of exotics and legendary armour that I can't use on my class. Anyone got some recommendations for Titan or Hunter?

I'm leaning towards hunter...because they get badass swooshing cloaks.

Yeah, as predicted Destiny has hit a massive content gap problem - the time between content drops is just too long to keep people playing. Unless Xur is selling something I want to pick up, I can't say as I plan on playing Destiny again until House of Wolves drops. At that point, it will be a case of how much Comet is going to introduce/change as to whether I buy in again because so far the DLC has been free, and that's the only real reason House of Wolves is getting a look.

That, and if I get an itch for good gunplay with a friend. But that's proving less and less common. I hope Destiny 2 comes out a lot bigger and allows for faster scaling of content, else I doubt I'll be interested.
