I saw this earlier. Do they all fall under the season pass or just house of wolves and the one we have already. Im not paying 30 dollars for 4 extra expansions of 3 missions and a strike each per expansion.

It's all unconfirmed information based on an Italian translation from a guy who sat in on a powerpoint presentation... so who knows?
From what I gather House of Wolves is in the Season Pass. Comet is a big stand alone release. Basically Destiny 1.5 and then the two next ones are season passes for Comet?
At this point I am guessing I will eventually play Destiny right before Destiny 2 comes out. Then it will have just around enough content that I will be interested.

I've heard Comet as being basically "Destiny 2.0" so far. It's got the most content and such.
However, Bungie did promise big news after the new year, so maybe they'll shed some official light on this stuff.
...though they need extra content NOW, not in ten months like has been rumored for Comet...

All hail the random number god, I guess. I haven't had a good drop in a while, though I'm barely playing to be fair. I'm still vastly short of ascendant shards (plenty of energy, though) for upgrading the new armour I need to boost my level. *sigh*
Really kinda over this game, unless I'm playing with friends.

Get better shaders. They have a tier system so that some things don't get changed. Exotics for the most part are above the top tier, but I'm not 100% sure that's true for all of them...

Gone back to DESTINY finally as I think I've finally tired of the novelty of CoD:AW and wanted to finally do strike missions on this game. Last night I did the Lvl 18 strike and after making it to the boss one of the three of our team bailed out, and left me and the other person to battle the thing by ourselves. It took a damned half hour to take out that tank!
My fingers are all fucked up on the controls as I'm used to CoD right now, so getting my Destiny dexterity back is gonna take a few times.

....you didn't just run Devil's Lair 20 times? And throw in a weekly or two to finish it off? XD
I've got that bounty at the moment and I'm not planning on the strike part taking more than a day. It's pretty excessive though for a gun that isn't that great...
Meanwhile I'm nearly at light level 30 on my main. One more Ascendant Shard and I'm there. Currently also leveling a Hunter to play with (got a full set of legendary waiting for him at 20, plus I'll probably give him The Last Word...just need an exotic armour to round it out and about 100 ascendant shards ). I do miss throwing knife whenever I return to my Warlock now though. XD

Probably the staggering number of people with terrible connections who are currently benefiting from aggressive lag compensation, if my last few games are anything to go by. XD

It was useless pre patch as it had too small a clip. It also has no impact, which is basically the most important stat...

If this leak is accurate its disappointing
House of Wolves is the same size (smaller if you count the ps4 exclusive) than the first DLC pack
3 story missions
1 Strike
1 Raid

Got my first Exotic weapon last night (a heavy one) and it's alright but it's a heavy "Kachunka Kachunka Kachunka" type weapon so if I'm in the Crucible and I happen to be close enough to heavy ammo when it drops to grab some...it's damn near useless because by the time I've gotten to get enough shots off on a player to kill them, they've alreayd used a faster, less powerful weapon to headshot me into oblivion. I've seriously used it like 5 or 6 times against someone and it never works.
My purple auto rifle is sweet enough, but it's got nothing on some of the weapons that show up against me in the Crucible and I wind up having to unload entire extended mags into someone to kill them.
I dunno if my defensive gear is just not high enough or what...but I've yet to come across a gun that I feel gives me the fluidity to feel like I'm running and gunning while being strong enough to take out players with any kind of accuracy that can be measured.
And while we are at it, Strike missions are fine when the other two players are down to take out the level (AKA taking out enemies systematically)...but more often than not the strike missions I go on with others the other two are always just bolting past the enemies to get to the end guy...and I'm left starting a firefight with enemies who just overwhelm me. So I get two options, play it how I'd like to play it and basically keep dying under the threat of enemies that are MEANT to be fought by three guardians...or I just run with them to the end...which always feels wasteful and irritatingly boring.

@QT - there are a few stats which are way more important in the Crucible than in PvE.
Impact dictates base per-shot damage, and since levels are nullified in the Crucible, a higher attack rating is meaningless. Go for what has the best Impact for the type of weapon you want to use for better damage per hit.
Rate of Fire obviously modifies your DPS based on the Impact.
Stability is crucial for keeping your aim on targets - I've got a blue auto rifle that has enough stability to make it feel like I'm just putting the crosshairs on heads and then can spray until they die.
Those three stats are what make or break most guns in the Crucible. It's why Hand Cannons like Thorn or The Devil You Know are great in there, or why many auto rifles are kinda average.
Don't be fooled into just going with a legendary because it's legendary - it's possible to have a blue with better stats which will out-preform it because the attack rating is meaningless outside PvE and the Iron Banner.

We knew House of Wolves would be the same, though.
What's more interesting is Plague of Darkness. It looks to be much more substantial and will even add a new area. Honestly that's what all the expansions should have been, given how content-limited the base game is, but I guess the name of the game is monetization, after all. XD

Oh my. That's funny.
Is the rest of the game as amusing?

Huh, I had no idea about this. I'll rectify it in my gear and see if it makes a difference. Thanks!

I thought all the Iron Banner weapons were buffed to level 32 in the patch yesterday?

Ah I see. Didn't realize the armour wasn't upgraded as well. That seems like a waste, especially since it means regular Crucible armour will be more effective in the Iron Banner than dedicated IB stuff! XD

Haha, enjoy! It's pretty much useless in PvE but it's badass in the Crucible once upgraded.

Yet another week of Xur deciding to be a bastard, been holding out for Heart of the Praxic fire but I'm sure he's never actually sold it...
Just relented and bought the Obsidian Mind, and it's turning out to be pretty decent, Will be launching nova bombs left, right and centre in no time!
