My final two matches last night were on new maps that I'd never played on before...so I could NOT play Rift on them well. You gotta know the map, the location of the spark and the various routes to the goal to make Rift work. Not knowing a lot that made it Suuuuuuuck for those two rounds.

I'm still solid at rift on the older maps, pulling the same shortcuts and Fakeouts I always have (My fave move is to get the enemy to follow me with the spark back into my area and they spend the whole time chasing me, leaving next to no one at their goal when I finally arrive there). Those new maps are going to take some getting used to, probably after IB on regular Crucible modes before I'll be any good at Rift on them.

How are you doing in one v one against 380-400's? They spank me usually. I'm 370-71-72.

It pisses me off if I sticky s grenade and they just shrug it off! This has been good for my kd this week though. I'm just hanging back mid to Rift pt getting defensive kills. Not unlikely for me to have most kills on my team with highest kd but I'm in bottom ranking since I'm not running spark. Not bothering me one bit. Only maps I even think about running are Veryigo and Sector 618. Those are easy to dunk.

I seem to do well against them sometimes, and not so well others.

Played a game of Rift last night and had the #1 K/D score AND the most captures and carries. That was pretty sweet.

I want to try some other crucible modes now that I've got the rewards for the IB stuff.. Maybe that's what I'll do next. I'll try out Supremacy.

U already got lvl 5?

Not yet, but I've gotten most of the rewards just from match wins.

I tried out Supremacy last night...oooooo, I likes it. Lots of fun and adding a new element of collecting the badges/crests, and denying them to others.

It's hard, I only got about 2-3 rounds in each night as was busy looking after the kiddo, and then in bed to get up for work. Hopefully the weekend yields some later nights.

I see you can buy destiny and eery expansion including rise of iron today for cheaper than rise of iron stand alone. This annoys me!

I'm off the game again. Lol

I played a bunch of IB and got so tense from being on bad team after bad team that I strained my neck/back from trying to contain my upset...and I realized I can't play competitive online games like this anymore. They just piss me off.

Oh well, I hope I get UNCHARTED 4 or FFXV for Xmas, I need a new game to play.

Damn dude what do you do? I can get loud during IB and pitch a bitch over my mic. Maybe slap my couch cushion a few times.

It's not too bad, but I grip the controller tight and tense right up all my muscles. Turns out that really triggers my back issues and they go into spasm as a rsuslt.

It's stupid, I know.

But yeah, I realized that a mere week into being back into the game, I'm just as competitive as I was before, and let the game get under my skin too easily.

Ah well.

There's a good chance you just got into IB to soon LL wise. On bad teams this happens so much in IB Rift because people don't use mics and odds are your going against 3-6 that are. Bad matches I look at that team and you see the same clan names on multiple.

Advice just do some strikes and archons forge to lvl up. SRL also hits tomorrow for a nice change of pace from bullets.

Just stay away from Crucible for a bit

Oh no, I've already had my wife re-hide the game disc from me. LOL

I was in such pain from my back spasming on Saturday and Sunday that I didn't want to even turn it on.

I'm such an ass.

Hello fellow Guardians! The final Destiny event will be revealed next Wednesday! http://www.inquisitr...carry-progress/

Quote

Bungie is finally taking steps to close out Destiny. The developer announced the final event and content update is coming soon to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One shooter. There is also some talk of Destiny 2 with a middle ground found for those that want to transfer over their characters.

The final Destiny event, called "Age of Triumph," will be revealed next Wednesday, March 8 and launch at the end of the month. Bungie isn't ready to share any details on what content will be included in the event, but did say it will be a "memorable celebration that will bring the first major chapter of our Destiny adventures to a fitting close."

The reveal will also look back at the first three years of Destiny, which should prove interesting.
I recommend dropping whatever you are playing and jump back in to Destiny TODAY! and make sure your skills are tightly honed and polished for this FINAL event. You want to shine for this one! So Guardians, make it a priority and keep your Titan/Hunter/Warlock focused and sharp for when this event launches. kay?

I implore you Guardians! Drop whatever you are playing and put Destiny back into your console of choice! You must have your skills sharp and tuned for this FINAL event!

I wonder if there is going to be any cool stuff, like a theme in The Tower (like they do during Halloween and Christmas) and if there is going to be some powerful giveaways/gifts for us devoted Guardians that have stayed active for three years and four expansions (TDB, HoW, TTK, and RoI).

I wonder when Destiny 2 is scheduled to be released, fall/autumn this year?

[EDIT] Holy shit! I just searched Destiny 2 release date in google and it came back with September 11, 2001. WTHF! Is that trying to tell us something!? We're dead!

Honestly, I will maybe consider popping Destiny on for the 5 minutes of fun it will give me until the grind sets in again, but that will be very dependent on my Destiny bro getting back on as well. XD

Oh man, so true. The Destiny grind is so tedious. I was dead set on getting my light level up to 400 (or close to it), but couldn't care less after hitting 340 because I couldn't grind anymore, so I've been stuck on 340 and probably will stay there. And what about that Xur over hyped bs? I've only gotten maybe one good thing from him.

Once I finished each expansion's story I pretty much dropped it afterwards (until the next expansion was released), because all the other aspects of Destiny just aren't executed all that well. I am going to check out this final event though, as I am curious if they will offer anything special (it being the "final" event and all Posted Image)

To all other Guardians: You guys gonna jump on Destiny 2 when it comes out? Or have you had your fill and will pass?

Greetings heroic Guardians. I just saw a video that says Destiny 2 will be released on September 8th (with a beta sometime in the summer).

But more importantly, are you Guardians ready for the Age of Triumph (beginning 5 days from now!) ? This is the last major event in Destiny, as such I implore you to have your skills tuned to the utmost sharpest so you can take advantage of all this last event will offer.

And so it begins. Good luck fellow heroic Guardians. May you never find the Althunaghal in complete darkness.

Greetings fellow heroic Guardians. Per Bungie communications, The Age of Triumph update went live @ 10am PT (2 1/2 hours ago). I attempted to download right about that time but nothing happened. I waited just over an hour and tried again and The Age of Triumph update has begun. It's 848 1/2 MB in size, which I guess is expected for this final major Destiny update prior to the release of Destiny 2.

May your defeat of the Blazrikonalghal see you heroic Guardians awarded with gifts and pleasures that fulfill your wildest fantasies.

I got on and tried out some Age of Triumph. Then I saw Dishonored was on sale for $6....

Ooooh, Briar King is the first person I recognize here.

So a Youtuber who has logged 3,500 hours on Destiny and who's channel is primarily based on Destiny content made a statement that he is finally quitting Destiny (don't worry, he is going all in on Destiny 2).

This got me thinking though. So, if you've never played Destiny and lets say for example a friend gives you the disc, can you still play it? Is it still going to be supported? I guess you can still play through all the campaign/story, but any pvp (Crucible for example) will probably no longer be available? Is that a fair assumption?
