Legendary Scout Rifle, Legendary Shotty, and raid Boots (and another ghost, that will be the 3rd).

Oh also a 310 artifact from the quest, and continued the quest for the Touch of Malice.

Now to hunt down a bunch of Calcified Shards, and I need another 40 hadrium flakes, because hooray. Time to fire up the hunter.

So does it explain wtf you are fighting him again after he was killed already in single player mode?

Ed: atleast with Skolas he was captured so he could be used again

Actually, the Hive make the most sense here. That place where you go in Crota's End and the story mission in TTK? That's like their afterlife/soul storage, which is something like where they go every time you kill them until they can be brought back. That's why Crota was never truly killed until the Raid - just prevented from returning for now.

Oryx is the same, but not having played the Raid I think it's likely to be a bit different - he seemed to Take himself, which is a bit like splitting his existence between the afterworld and that weird between space stuff for the Taken, I believe.

In both cases, it actually makes the most sense for the Hive, because they're basically necromantic immortals who aren't really killed when their bodies get killed.

At least, that's what I've got so far from the titbits of lore in this game. XD

He didn't die in that single player mission. He took himself, which means he was teleported to his very own personal pocket realm called the 'sword realm', and where he is the biggest badass on the block.

So Oryx is Anomander Rake?

Fixed that for you.

So, anyone had a go at figuring out the Sleeper Stimulant THE FIRST FIREWALL quest entry?

I was perusing the Reddit about it, and have turned in all 4 of the fusion rifle relics, so now it's either Gunsmith rank, or something else triggers it. It also appears to be tied to the Promethean Code quest.

But I mean, a Fusion that counts as a heavy and lobs projectiles? Solid!

There's a whole subreddit devoted to the quest for the sleeper stimulant.

No one has figured it out yet, or if they have they haven't used the gun and have said nothing about it.

I personally think its related to getting all 50 calcified fragments, but I don't know.

Oh yeah, that's a strong possibility...but as it stands I have no idea other than it being specifically tied to Rasputin (his logo, at any rate). The Promethean Code quest DOES have that line of dialogue from Cayde talking about Rasputin, and how "the good stuff is underneath us"...

Anyways, I'm going to keep toying around and see if I can't find anything in and around the Forgotten Shore and R's Bunker that might have gotten missed.

I've not tried to collect all 50 fragments on the Dreadnaught yet (I've got a few). May start to try to track those down too.

Aren't the fragments primarily tied to the swords and Touch of Malice? It'd be a bit much to make them also tied to the Simulant...

Very intriguing puzzle to be sure. Doubt anyone we know will be the first to figure it out with the Reddit hive in full swing. XD

The calcified fragments aren't tied to swords, they are tied to Touch of Malice.

Hadrium Flakes are tied to the swords (and you need another 50 for the ToM quest).

There are supposed to be videos of someone showing it off today, but I feel like it's someone taking a phone video of the reveal video of it way back when they first revealed TTK. Waiting for confirmation either way.

Turns out that the Sleeper Stimulant Quest just required time.

As long as you've turned in all the fusion rifle relics to the Gunsmith, the Quest now shows up on Earth to start, as of this morning.

That's actually moderately disappointing. XD

I would've liked something more involved and intricate. I imagine the hard core Reddit crew is almost screaming about now.

IB is here. I'm not happy with gear. We have to spend LM instead of Glimmer now and that just pissed me off. Not happy at all

All you do is WHINE WHINE WHINE WHINE WHINE.

They said the goal was to make all the gear DROP before you hit l5, then if you reach l5 without getting a specific drop, you can buy gear. They upped the IB-specific gear drops while playing IB.

WHINE WHINE WHINE.

Been doing okay in IB so far this go round. I've been on more winning teams than losing ones. My shiny new SUROS ARI-45m auto-rifle is great in PVE...but the impact is poor for Crucible matches, so I've been sticking with my trusty Year2 Hawkmoon (infused to 283 so far) for Crucible/IB matches, and it's serving me well. As long as I can focus, breathe, and aim for the head, I do fairly well.

Did the raid last night with 2 newbies. Failed like 8 times on the Sisters then 1shot Oryx.

I hate having 306 shoulders, and getting 3 more titan raid shoulders and they are all under that. DAMN YOU RNGESUS!

So, everyone seems to be whining about Sunbreakers in IB, claiming they have 7 hammers, seeking hammers, health regen, and can't be 1-shot killed... You can't have 7 hammers, seeking hammers, or health regen at the same time. And not being able to be one shot killed is running full armor.

Titans finally have a viable PvP spec (well, the super is, our melee is still weaker than the other classes, despite being 'punchers') and people are whiiiining. It almost makes me want to play IB.
