After a quick check on BGG, it seems the consensus is that missiles fire for every battle, with "battle" being defined as every fight between exactly 2 players. There were 2 battles in Arcturus (as D'rek said above). In the ancient battle therefore I should have fired another 8 missiles prior to the cannon round you rolled. I'm happy to leave things as-is but will abstain from a vote on the matter of course. Not like me firing 8 missiles helps their chances at any rate.

RE disco tile What are the house rules RE the disco tile? It was still available since Twelve wasn't allowed to collect it. In previous games did we get to see what it was before deciding to keep the tech or the VP?

yeah, when you influence the tile you get to see discovery. Then it's up to you whether keeping the tech or vp is best for you.

I know, but that would have been quite an improvement to the 100% chance of failure I would have had otherwise (and indeed, did).

Respectable draw I guess. I was reading up on the rules for descendants of draco too....didn't realize they get a VP for every ancient ship remaining at the end of the game. So I robbed Twelve of a 4VP hex there! Sweet!

I will influence Morgoth's homeworld, but not the other hex.

That will bankrupt me, so I de-influence 201 (I think it is 201 - can't read a thing on the OP map...). 1 influence disk, 1 materials cube and 1 money cube go back.

Colonize Morgoth's homeworld with 1 cube of each track.
