I guess I'm going for the GC? At the very least I will move an interceptor in to pin one of his dreads. We'll see from there.

If you can pin a dread there's a good chance I can put together enough material to get that hex in between me and the GC.

I think I need the advanced econ tech to be able to afford the required moves however.

It's a lot to ask of Khell though, who is low on resources and could benefit from that tech as well - though he could also benefit from a weaker Twelve.

I'm surprised no one is trying to extend twelves front line. A couple of sacrificial interceptors and then twelves homeworld and those juicy ancients are ripe for the picking. Remember twelves ships and ancients don't add together when pinning is calculated.

I think 4 hexes to defend is alrighty a lot, but certainly if Morgoth can slip an extra cruiser into twelve's homeworld that'd be just fine, too.

What I really wanted was advanced mining, but it's not even on the board My luck has been horrendous this game. Gonna have to think about this one, as my next choice would have been advanced econ, but enemy of my enemy and all that.

Yeah, I think that advanced econ is probably your best choice in self interest for sure...which isn't the worst thing to serve in the grand scheme of things, though I could probably put the extra moves it would afford to more effective use. I'll get by without it, but it will be hard for me to get much done this turn without. At worst it would force me to wait until next round to pitch in and challenge twelve, which is probably too late.

Make it as hard on your fellow players as possible. I can't be bothered to mess with such a small fry like you. It looks very likely I have to defend from a three or four pronged assault this round and again most every round after this if I manage to fend off the rabble. Get your tech points while you can. There is no guarantee the tech you want will even show up until way too late if ever so you might as well get what is available before it's too late.

Valid, but I'm also *not* on your doorstep Khell, nor can I get there before the end of round 9 easily, nor would I really want to.

I can be a lot bigger pain in the butt to the guy who *is* on your doorstep if you kindly leave that tech on the board, leaving you the potential for expansion where you might not otherwise get it.
