True, but how often do you see the joke vote being cast on someone who hasn't even shown up? I think that was a mistake on Mac's part, for several reasons, some of which you've already mentioned.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out though. With day 1 lasting for five days, anything could still happen at this point. I'm kinda surprised at how few posts there are, but I guess people are taking the slow part seriously. I think that's going to be a good thing when the game really gets going, since we should see some great cases and such.

We're healers, so we don't have any good reason to reveal that fact on thread. However, because we're paired it may become necessary to come out as "Lovers" (i.e. having off-thread communication) at some point. THe most likely situation where that would be helpful to town would be if one of us is dead, and town is trying to decide whether or not to lynch the other of us.

That means we should decide some coded message on thread that can be revealed in that instance. Something obvious when pointed out, but NOT obvious to the killers....obviously.

Thoughts on the self-heal? Sometimes it is allowed, but with duel healers they can afford to lose one anyway. I think self-heal is too much here.

Good shout on the self healing. It's a bit much. It's probably not huge at this stage, but after a lover reveal they'll be CI, and having one of them able to continue the whole game like that is strong. So yeah, no to self healing.

A though occurs to me (well, I can be a little slow at times) - those people who are good at alting are going to be at a big advantage here. Playstyle will differ based on roles and a good proportion of the players in 106 are here too, that provides rich hunting grounds for spotting roled players.

Ruse was seriously unlucky in that vote on them, if D'riss is the other symp they're retarded.

Shadow is currently my highest listed for symp based on their last post.

Mac is trying to deflect, it will be important to see if he can get that working. Ideally it wouldn't be him doing it.

He at least needs to try and give them other options, so that when time becomes more of a factor, Ruse isn't the only thing that has happened, which is a bit of a threat at the moment given how slow people are taking it.

Maybe just to let people know we are aware the modkill timer was up, and had a workaround in place? That way it doesn't seem like unfair treatment or anything. I don't think it really matters either way though.

Alright, headed to sleep. Not sure if you want to have night run its course every time or resolve once we get actions, but heals and kill are locked. Not sure on vig though, guess more time there.

Yeah, this is getting to be an issue. Particularly with the outage I'm less sure on modkilling.

I'm gonna let night run for just now to give some time to think about it.

I'm considering extending the day time from now on, or at least running weekend breaks.

Scum did get lucky with the timeout. I think Galain played his vote well. He managed to actually be on the train, and pretty early, but it was late enough in the day a lynch wasn't much of a risk.
