Wow, 3 tachyon sources on the supply board! In other words, we won't be able to stop Morgoth getting anti-matter cannons on his cruisers, too!

I'm quite swamped these coming weeks, so sorry about the long wait for my upkeep. I think this is correct from what I've written down.

It's your move as well. Presumably influence?
Rotate towards me, I'll research plasma cannons trading 6 material for 2 science to afford it.

That's not correct.
At the end of the action phase you were:
Bank: 1 money, 0 science, 7 mats.
Income: 24 money, 18 science, 4 mats.
Upkeep: -21 not -17.
The cube from the CF ambassador needs to go back to one of the tracks.
If you influenced Delta Corvi your upkeep is -25.
And you go first, followed by IH, Twelve, etc

Humh, I see the problem I believe. There are two discs on the build action, but I only performed one as far as I can tell. I guess I'll place a cube back on the econ track, providing me with the following upkeep.

First action:
Influence - Kappa Volantis, placing cubes on both econ and one materials planet. Return disc and cubes from Nu Ophiuchi and place same disc on Fomalhaut. Flip two colony ships back up.

IH and Gnaw - how do you want to proceed this turn? I'll be a little more hard pressed than I had originally assumed and my statistics department insist I'll be needing some assistance.

I'm currently undecided as to my course of action. Cf has scuppered my plan of make sure twelve finishes in last place, I don't think I've got enough points to go for the win so I'm currently in spoiler mode.
My inclination is not to let drek profit from the dismantling of my allies, but it also feels wrong to hand you the win. I need to figure out the VP totals and see which option gives me the best chance of grabbing 2nd place.

Oh and morgoth you know you could do that influence in one go is move disc from nu oppuichi to kappa volantis, leaving you with an extra influence disc you can still move.
Ie the disc can be moved from one hex to another, not just on and off your board.

Also question in terms of VP totals is morgoth still in the alliance with CF or not? I thought we'd decided he wasn't but gnaws VP totals indicate he is.
Edit: Drek's interceptor seems to have resurrected, I thought tatts killed it.
Tatts are you grabbing fusion source or advanced econ? Are you planning to build 1 dread or two cruisers this turn (by trading money?). You might be better off building your ships before grabbing tech so drek can't pin you like previously. Though she might just nuke your hexes in retaliation.
I don't think Drek's ships will remain lightweights for much longer unfortunately, but I think you probably can grab your homeworld with a concerted effort.
Gnaw what is your plan? I don't see a great many options for you. Grabbing Procyon/running around in morgoth territory is one plan, he doesn't have the material to stop you and fight off the hippy alliance, so he might let it go, and it gives you more options long term. Worst case if you are careful he will have a lot of trouble pinning you, without opening himself up to drek. And if you arent pinned some of cfs territory becomes available. You have a lot of moves at the moment, but not a great deal to do with them.
Can also try a grand attack on sigma draconis. I'm not 100% confident we would win that fight, but it might be worth a shot, and would at least force drek to deplete her materials store and prevent a mass monolith build at the end of the game.

CF is dead and gone, so no one can still be allies with him. But I thought we agreed that Morgoth *was* still in the Flare alliance (even if nobody else is).

That's right. And somebody else could technically take the third spot if they were to abandon their previous alliance.

Well, I was going to make that play. But somebody had to remind Morgoth that he could move an influence disc.
Given a procyon influence, he can grab artifact key for 25 resources. So planning on him not having enough mats might not be a good idea.
