It is easy for you guys to say do this do that. I have a partner who I need to talk to who is on the other side of the world and stepped into a game 3/4 of the way through. If you feel that there is an issue then I suggest that all of the decisions be undertaken for the Mechana by a committy of everyone left alive. The majority would vote on the best action.

Otherwise you can fuck off until I am able to consult with Grief.

@Venge/Grief - you guys would be better off collaborating on your overall plans and methods for each round off-thread, but not waiting to double-check every single action exactly. Most of the time it's going to be one of you saying "It's our turn, and I think the best thing to do next to achieve the overall goal we already discussed is to upgrade these ships with these better parts" and then 30 hours later the response is just "I agree"

That is good advice. So far I have made 90% of the decisions. However there is several different scenarios that I want Grief to look at and I would rather not have to make a decisions in what direction we are going to go on with out his input, even if it is just him saying that he doesn't care and that it is up to me.

I realize that this is an advanced game and that waiting on me and grief is slowing it down significantly. If you guys feel it is to much of a problem I highly suggest what I put down above. All movements and actions voted upon by all other factions. If you do not want to go down that route then when I get word from Grief or at least have given him enough time to respond. I will make my action. Thank you for your kind consideration in regards to this matter. We of the Mechana support your support of our decision process.

I have no problem with delays that you and Grief need to make to be able to play intelligently. Now that I know you're actually paying attention.

A brief "I'm still alive" post once in a while would help though.

The mecha are currently not looking at that type of scenario. Rather we are inwardly communicating the ramifications of the upcoming conflict.

because you are part of our alliance and because there's no off thread stuff amongst all us, Gnaw may be thinking you are going to betray us this round but that is not the case, maybe another round or two if it is what you decide to do. Right now you have a dread in the wormhole hex, and it'd be bad for you to take too many hits.


Basically Gnaw and I are here to talk to you as poart of your friendly alliance, you can discuss various scenarios with us as much as Grief, and even though I am not the best player (probably the worst) I will still be true to you. Answering to the best of my knowledge, which I understand is quite limited. I am understanding the game a lot better though and the next game of eclipse may see me have a better game. Anyway, what options are you thinking? You literally have one more move available. So shooting the shit right now maybe good for you.

Also diplomatic relations with me enable you to have an extra money cube removed so that your upkeep is easier to manage, that may not be in your plans though but the offer is there. I would take a VP hit to get that relation with you as you so kindly assisted with your dread against Khell.

Is there a way that I can find a game board and everything online. An online version of the game if you will. I found the game for the Ipad. Don't have one. But an ability to take a look at everything in an online game format would greatly help and speed up our understanding, and thus our decision making process.

I have been waiting for this game to come out on Android Venge but it is still only limited to Apple at the moment. I just downloaded a game by the same people called Neuroshima hex but it is not as complex. The hexes already have ships on them and yeah, it's just not Eclipse.

edit - it is turn based and has strategy but nothing like this.
