IH if I move to the supernova hex I can influence it and it will less likely explode. If I move to 310 and the supernova explodes I will be stranded. What do you think? I would prefer not to lose a dread for the rest of the game but I can see the benefits of having both hexes 310 and 318 for the rest of the game, putting monoliths in there to boost VP's.
I thought you were grooming me to attack Twelve's home world this go not Vega, and I was going to move my dread against his orbital and interceptor this go. Especially because he cannot afford to do upgrades. That is why I passed when I did.
I've been debating the merits of supernova or 310, there are arguments for both. Initially I was against supernova, as if it explodes you lose the dread, you get one less planet and you don't get a combat draw.
Downside of 310 is your dread could be trapped, but you probably have a couple of turns fighting twelve, and those two hexes could be good. Personally I think 1 dread to seal off that front is a good sacrifice.
If you react to take 310, you still have a reaction to deal with drek. Thinking about it you taking twelves homeworld might have been better, if I'd moved a ship he would have to take the traitor card to attack you. Ah well I think this way we have more chance of dealing with him for good.
Don't worry gnaw, I'm not planning to betray you, too many borders, not enough moves to risk that.
