So I'm not needed yet. Boo! :-)
I love this game. We could probably run at least two at a time in different parking order, would that be too confusing?

@GC,
Yeah, I was still contemplating it. Trying to figure out a whizz-banger of a strategy that would catapult me way into the lead. Then I read the rulebook and realized one of the moves wasn't legal, so passing is the best option by far.
@Morgoth,
What are you thinking of picking up for tech next round? As long as one of us grabs the missiles then that'd be best. If a plasma missile comes up one of us should probably grab that too. If I go science on the orbital that I plan to build next reaction, I'd be able to pick up gluon comp AND flux missiles in one round (even though it would use all my resources). That would be an awesome upgrade - especially if you were able to nab the plasma missiles (if indeed they show up).

I think you should grabb the flux missiles. I will need to acquire some more actions, but will keep my options open.

I'm against that idea - I just worry that folks who are doing badly (or even just sub-optimal) in one game or the other wouldn't give the "losing" game the attention and careful thought that the other players deserve. Know what I mean? If you've already written off a game in your mind then it's hard to care about the outcome, which makes any victory kind of a hollow one for the folks who actually *do* care about the outcome.
It's the main reason I recommended against Gnaw starting game IV whilst we were still finishing Game III.
That's my position on it, but far be it from me to stop anybody who wants to try a concurrent game. I only have time for the one game anyway.

@ GALACTIC COUNCIL
please don't skip over me next time around the board. I would like the choice to continue passing or make a reaction each round.
PS I know that is kind of a pain and sorry - just hedging my bets with regards to Tapper. I'm thinking of going Orbital, but if he drops all those materials and moves dreads on me then I'll need to pony up with a 4th starbase.

I'd like an option of cheating and padding my player board with better tech, & more resources if you are feelig extra generous while you are at it.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

No problem
Technically we haven't skipped over you this turn. not until Tapper makes a move. But from now on I will not assume you're doing a "no reaction" unless told otherwise.

I'd agree from another point of view. I spent 15 or 20 minutes trying to find out why "jump drive' was still in the 'available' pile. I knew it had been discovered. Finally remembered the other game.

And a variation of CF's objection: "Hey Khell, I'll let you take that hex in the other game if you let me have this one here".

I did have a thought on how we could run two games though. One Europeans and the other NA. But there's only 4 NA players so unless we could get some new blood...

Tapper, let me know if there's anything in particular you want me to do. Right now I think we are very well-positioned. Tatts and Gnaw can plan to get lose all the discs they like, their science and materials production are crap and are going to stay crap as a result. I'm not much worried at all.

And it would be a weird and a little sad to enforce that kind of separation.

Gnaw are you going to add computers or Ion cannon to your interceptors? I say Ion cannon so that you can stay in a fight if you get into one.

That sounds like a spectacularly bad idea.

Dropping computers means 1 in six missiles will hit on average. And the ion cannons will be entirely useless without computers too.
If he bought every fighter available and sent them all, with that schematic, against my two cruisers I would laugh.
edit: well, maybe not if he sent 9, I would lose against that either way, but he would be better off having two sets of plasma missiles or a computer, rather than an ion cannon either way.

He only has electron computer and I was thinking against D'rek's interceptors to be honest. She has put improved hull on them and an Ion cannon. Sowhat do you think now? He'd have better odds of winning against her yes?

OK.
The way I see it.
Strengths: contained territory with few access. Spread Point Totals. Connected territories. Lots of discs to burn.
Weaknesses: fleets. Our ship sturdiness combined with a very low material production means we're bad in wars of attrition. Very few ships on the board and a big loss of fleets in turn 2.
Dangers: Gnaw bombing one or more of our worlds in order to bankrupt us (starting with either your shrine system, or Khell's homeworld). problem: cloaking device.
This turn, you and I have our hands free. Khell is engaged abroad.
Morgoth & CF have passed. Gnaw will be done in one or two actions.
Turn order nest round will likely ((99% certain) be Morghy, CF, Tapper, Khell, D'rek.
Expectations:
1) Next turn, IH will probably play for the centre.
2) Gnaw can either help him with ships, or he will build interceptors to neutron bomb worlds/ use cloaking device to pin our ships.
My suggestions are either.
1) we try to take the centre this round. With 4 inties, I have roughly a 90% chance of killing the Ancient - holding it after that will be a different story.
Or:
2) we try to take out Gnaw now and defend Khell's homeworld.
