I want to know why Merriweather isn't suspended for the rest of the season. The two hits on packers RBs today is precisely what the NFL is trying to prevent. He never even tries to tackle these guys, his entire goal is to knock them down by hitting them with the crown of his head. Both the hit on Eddie Lacy and the hit on Starks are in the link below.

Yeah, those were both dirty hits. At least karma struck when Merriweather knocked himself out (I heard something about a possible concussion too), and I'm sure he'll receive a nice fine in the next few days. Hopefully that will be enough to teach him. Have there been suspensions for hits before? I can't think of any off the top of my head.

Merriweather has been fined multiple times for cheap/late hits.

Can the Seahawks please play the Forty Whiners EVERY week !!!

We are going to be super scary once we get our full defence on the field ... still playing without Browner, Clemons & Irvin ... Oh and lets throw Percy Harvin into the Offensive mix in another 5-6 weeks.

Question after game by reporter : What makes this defence such a difficult matchup for you guys ?

Kraperdick : I don't think it was anything they did we just didn't come out and perform !

Wow 13 of 28 for 127 yards and 3 picks, 3 sacks and a lost fumble still he did make some plays running for his life when his WR's were covered. SF RB's 11 carries 13 yards. :)

Dark horse pick no one is talking about.

Houston.

Though I love rooting for Da Saints and I'm a Pacfic Northwesterner but it's nearly equal distance from my place between Seatlle and San Fran so it's a bit of a toss up for me as to who to root for.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

It's a long season. Seattle is hot now, but I'm sure we all remember the 15-1 Packers of 2011 who bowed out early. It's all about who gets hot at the right time (meaning the playoffs).

Right now, it's about who MAKES it to the playoffs. I think we'll see

Dallas
Green Bay
Seattle
Atlanta
San Francisco
Chicago

in the NFC in the playoffs.

I was thinking of a word to sum up my thoughts on Seattle this season. And that word is 'beautiful.'

The Seabirds are Beautiful this year. I love the city. I love the fans- especially the 12th man, which is REAL, not just some joke. That is one of the toughest stadiums to play in as an opponent in the history of stadiums around the country. The colors are amazing. I love the color combo, and I just think it flat out screams 'We are bad men.' They are firing on all cylinders. QB is doing his thing. Receivers could improve, actually, but good enough for now - and they so have Percy Harvin coming back in a few weeks , which is NOT to be underlooked . O- line is allowing Lynch be the beast, and even making room for Turbin to sneak in and make plays against a tired defense. And then there's the defense. The front 4! The SECONDARY, which is one of the best in football. This is the team to beat as long as they don't implode on each other.

With that said, I'm still not a fan, its just 'Game recognize Game.' And I love watching them play, and would be quote ok if it was they who pull it off.

I think they may be the most complete team at the moment, but I'm still saying Denver is too much for any team right now.

And what about my Panthers last night? They may be 1-2 and suck, but that beat down of the giants last night was beautiful. All except the part where they scored 38 pts, and Steve smith isn't part of it, or I'd be kicking Tacos ass right now.

Can i take my earlier statement about the Broncos back?

I really didnt believe that offense would be better than last year, and Von Miller is almost over his suspension. Man they look good.

Bronco's DO look great but this is the regular season, the question as always is, can Peyton win in the playoffs ?

So... 10 minutes to go in the 4th & 49ers have a relatively comfortable margin. But Seahawks won earlier this week so its not as good a result as it could be...

Only 1 undefeated team left now and I'm sure nobody thought it would be the Chiefs !

Peyton #CHOKE# Manning and the Broncos lose in a " Playoff " type atmosphere in Indy.

Indy have had some great results this year and look a real danger in the AFC with big Wins over DEN, SF & Seattle ( Thanks Ref's)

CINCY look strong.

PATS fighting injuries.

JETS showing some fight and RAVENS with lots to do.

Nice comfortable win in London. Sort of gutted I failed to get tickets but also quite happy I didn't spend all that money getting there for that game!

Seattle escape with a win tonight and still lead the NFC with a 7-1 record !

Give the damn ball to Lynch ! 8 carries for Beastmode tonight WTF !!!

Russell Wilson getting killed behind our back-up tackles.

Right now Saints & Niners playing better than us but I believe we can only get better.

5 of 8 of our last games at Home.

When Percy Harvin is playing teams won't stack 8 in the box to take the run away.

O/Line to get fixed with return of tackles.

49ers-Jaguars was at Wembley last weekend. NFL has had a game in London every year for the past few years. This year they had 2 - about a month back it was Vikings vs (I think) Steelers. A few years back the London game was 49ers vs Broncos & I went with Thelomen Toblerone & it was great fun. This year the weather was much worse so didn't mind watching it from home... :)

F*ck Me !

Watching the Seahawks these last few weeks is killing me !!!

Had to come back from 21-0 today to beat a WINLESS Tampa Bay team WTF !!!!!

Coupled with the Saints loss we have the edge now on homefield advantage in the NFC but we will have to play a lot frggin better than this.

8 & 1 somehow :)

Dominant performance from the Seahawks tonight over the Falcons 33-10 !

Great effort without our All-Pro LT, All Pro C, Starting RT, Starting DE and losing starting Pro Bowl CB early in the game.

Unbelieveable catch by Golden Tate for TD, how much better are we going to be when Percy Harvin is available ?

Beastmode starting to roll now as well.

Throw in a loss by the FortyWhiners and this was an almost perfect night!

Go Hawks !!!!! :unworthy:

It's a fun season, if the way the season is shaping out will continue, it is going to be entertaining play-offs. Pity about the injuries to Rodgers & Cutler, but that's football. Love how the Saints are playing, but at some point they'll be playing away from home in a must-win game and I am not sure they can pull it off, then. Carolina's also hot on their heels.
Detroit seems to be turning into the team no-one talks about, and when one does, with the footnote of injuries within the Bears and Packers.
I am not 100% sure about Seattle's expected improvement when Harvin comes back. He's a crazy (good) player, but half the trick is knowing how to use him and how to keep him from being injured, too.

Chicago managed to pull out a win with cutler on the bench and the game paused for almost 2 hours thanks to stupid tornadoes. A Detroit loss puts us back in the drivers seat.
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.
