Hmm don't know why but Saints and Falcons played yesterday... Atleast Saints won but I didn't know about the game so I'm pissed not being able to see it...

Yeah,I can't watch Thursday night games either. Don't have NFL Network. Sucks.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Is it too late to retract that vote for the Texans all those many, many months ago?

How does a team considered to be a super bowl contender get themselves in a position for the #1 pick in the draft and don't lose a QB of Peyton Mannings caliber to season ending surgery even before the season starts? HOW?
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Lol. You a shit talkin' mother effer, grumble.

But I have to side with you against the 'Aints', as your apt to call them. As Aints is a good name for them.

Because although they were 5-0 when Panthers were 2-3, they 'ain't' the outright leaders of the division anymore.

My Panthers are creepin' on a come up. Watch out.

I agree. Prolly mos def their worst game of season. And coming off such a bad game and playing at home makes me think they'll Prolly beat Panthers this Sunday to reclaim lead. But I won't cry if they don't!

Steve Smith is and has been amazing for us over the years, but he's getting old, and Ginn and Lafell aren't top talents either. But we can't afford Smith and another top receiver. And we have no premier RB. So imagine if we could replace Smith with a Josh Gordon, or secure a back like Marshawn Lynch.

But I really doubt they can win it all. There's too many land mines this year. Out in first round, and that's assuming them ending up as wild card with Panthers winning division.

Lions at Eagles. Wow what a game. The snow was incredible, and visibility in the first half was near zero. Up until this game, Philadelphia hadn't scored a point in the second half for almost 5 weeks, I believe. They scored all their 34 points in the second half, 28 of which in the fourth quarter. They exploited the Lions secondary to perfection overcame a 14 point deficit to win by 14. Nick Foles didn't let his first INT of the year affect him at all, and was about a pinpoint accurate as you can be in a blizzard. LeSean McCoy channeled his inner-Barry Sanders and gashed the best run defense in the NFL for over 200 yards on the ground. The Eagles defense used the weather as a 12th man, and held Megatron to a paltry 3 catches and 49 yards.
Theorizing that one could poop within his own lifetime, Doctor Poopet led an elite group of scientists into the desert to develop a top secret project, known as QUANTUM POOP. Pressured to prove his theories or lose funding, Doctor Poopet, prematurely stepped into the Poop Accelerator and vanished. He awoke to find himself in the past, suffering from partial amnesia and facing a mirror image that was not his own. Fortunately, contact with his own bowels was made through brainwave transmissions, with Al the Poop Observer, who appeared in the form of a hologram that only Doctor Poopet could see and hear. Trapped in the past, Doctor Poopet finds himself pooping from life to life, pooping things right, that once went wrong and hoping each time, that his next poop will be the poop home.

Yep I was happy with that just cause of how bad Seattle beat us last week. Glad they lost.

Big it up lads because the Niners lost by 26 in Seattle the A'ints by 27. Good Luck !

Come on Saints I know you can beat those Panthers at the Dome tonight!!!

Who Dat Nation!

Ed: Fuck yes!!!10-3 now!

Damn it.

I even picked the Saints to win this one myself, but it still makes me mad.

Carolina can hopefully beat a shitty Jets team Sunday, then win the rematch against New Orleans next week, and if luck holds, end season as division leader at 12-4. But 11-5 and a Wild Card minimum.

I could be ok with the Seahawks winning a Superbowl.

Pulling for Panthers first of course, but even I don't see them being able to run the gauntlet. Too inconsistent.

I definitely wouldn't mind seeing Peyton Manning winning it all. The man deserves it. He doesn't have much more playing time left, and the way Indy did him still irritates me. Even if it was a smart move on their part in the long run. But the year he's put down so far deserves nothing short of being crowned Champion. Plus he's a good guy. Give the man his dues.

But if no Denver? How about the Chiefs.. they have what it takes to win, but I don't see it happening. I do kind of feel the and way about Alex Smith as I do Manning in that the 49ers booted the man after an injury, and holding a winning record. It was good to see Smith kick ass in KC after the shit SF pulled.

So my stance on a 49ers Superbowl victory should be obvious then. I hope they lose, and lose bad. And I hope it's all Kaepernik(fuck spelling) fault. I hope he screws the pooch. In fact, watching a 49ers vs Chiefs title game where Alex Smith wtfpwns(yeah I went there) the team who dissed him does sound rather intriguing.

Patriots? God no. Please. New England had their run. A damned fine run. A dynasty even. But let's move on for good after this season.

Bengals or Colts? Boring.

Lions, Bears, Eagles, Cowboys.......all first round losers, depending on who ends up in.

Saints? It's hard for me to.pull for the Saints as thy are a huge division rival, but if the Panthers fall, then I could be ok with a Drew Brees Champion.

So my hopes for the team to win the Superbowl in order are:

Panthers
Broncos
Chiefs
Seahawks
Saints

as a fan, I hope the Saints.

I'd also be happy with the Packers, but them making the play-offs is a closing window.
Out of the underdogs, well, I would LOVE the Eagles going far. Just because it guarantees spectacle. Or the Cardinals... just because it would be a huge upset.
For all the casual observers who I will be watching the game with, a touchdown-filled spectacle would be massively appreciated. That means Denver, which means (sadly) Manning. I'm simply not a Manning fan, even though I can see he's a pretty awesome player.

My one hope is that it won't be a defensive tactical battle, which any match involving Seattle and/or the 49ers is guaranteed to become.

I am very happy and surprised that my Cardinals are still in the playoff picture, but NOT ONE SINGLE RESULT the last 2 weeks have helped us. Looks like we need not just 1 miracle but 2 or 3 to get a wildcard.

1 miracle beat Seahawks in Seattle in week 16.
2 miracle beat 49ers at home in week 17.
3 miracle 49ers/panthers or Saints lose last 2 games.

I think i will just settle for a winning record this year and much better results than i hoped for before the season. Not even the fanboy in me makes me think we beat Seattle in their house.
I hate to say this, but Grumble is backing the right team this year. Saehawks look like the strongest Superbowl favorites right now.

The Superbowl is played on neutral ground. The Seahawks would probably lose to any AFC team that meets them in the Bowl. I still think it's gonna be Denver or the Chiefs.

Wow !!! What a profoundly dumb statement to make ..... Seahawks this year a FRANCHISE BEST 6-2 on the Road, including the last game a 23-0 SHUTOUT of the Giants played in Metlife stadium the site of Superbowl 48.

Seattle has historically suffered travelling to east coast time zones and playing a 10.00am ( to them ) game.

IF Seattle makes it to the big show this year I have no worries at all on that score.

I will take our No 1 ranked D. our No 2 ranked rush attack, our outstanding special teams, oh and Russell Wilson ( MVP ) over any of your flaky AFC teams.
