On phone whilst commuting home. Got a game tonight, so won't be on much.
I'm in the camp that suggests we need to lynch Jalan to test just what the he'll Shadows do.
I also notice that he apparently got bullets back, since he's voting, making actions, and generally is being a nuisance. Suggests that whatever happened to him during the standoff @ Dead Dane's Deed wasn't permanent. Hmmm...

Going to start talking?
Anyone else noticed the lack of Russian Roulette these last 2 Days? Not to tempt fate or anything...

I chose Meanas as potential Judge, Fanderay as lynchee if I am chosen as Judge, fwiw. Not a single person gave me an out today, so I expect the majority of you have me set as your lynch target. I figured if anyone MIGHT believe that I am not lying about my Shadow, it would be Meanas (I was going to choose you, Barghast, but I still don't like the no one has any idea who my choice is style of play, even if I am the most likely to go on the block).
I have a bunch of information that would be useful to a bunch of you, I am sure, including why there hasn't been any Russian Roulette. Friend me if you want to find out what I know.

Since we are talking who we selected as their Judge. I selected my judge from those early supports for voting Jalan out of the game. I don't know who to trust so hopefully I don't get screwed by who I picked.

Okay, Day start investment summary:
Mud Street
Aces invested 2, 2, 3, 2 - could be Bank Robber or Card Shark
Judge Wallace's Office - Cult invested 0, 0, 3 0 - Iron Worker1
Dead Dane's Deed - South invested 4, 2, 0 6 - Confederate Captain or Texas Ranger
Fleece Spring - Cult invested 9, 6, 6, 0 - no single role capable of this, only combinations that work are Iron Worker with Locomindhive or Acquisition Agent2
Outlaw's Refuge - Aces invested 4, 2, 1, 6 - Given Cattle Thief still demonstrably active at Outlaws I'm going to go out on a limb and say it was the CT with some cheating or the Bank Robber joined the party.
1Iron Worker, or another role used Cheat [2]
2Iron Worker not being present requires use of Cheat [4] to get sufficient Hearts invested, more than Locomindhive possesses (2) and all that Agent has (4) - for this reason I think we have a Cult Hero present and investing.

And this is why none of you mofos'd better even THINK of killing this guy. Because we'd lose this kind of analysis.

You are quite welcome Meanas, I hesitate to say it but I suspect that those doing the investing are less keen on it, particularly the Cattle Thief who hasn't shifted his butt all game.

I'm quite flattered. Not that I seriously entertain the possibility of you telling the truth in this case, since you've got somewhat of a bad rep in that department.
I'm always on a lookout for more info. Sadly, I can't pay for friendship right now. I'd be willing to share if you were to pay...

Oooh, how mysterious! Well, two can play at that game:
Rashan, do you remember our deal? I have that information you wanted, and I've included it in one of my earlier posts. So I hope you're still going to follow through on your end. I have no way of proving this to you, but for what it's worth, I think it's in both of our best interests. After all, what would I gain from double-crossing you?
I'm going to bed now. I'll be voting Fanderay for Mayor in the morning.

I think you're missing something there. Think about the summon blurb which Jalan posted, it said nothing about what a Shadow does. Which to my mind means it can do several things, depending on which of Jalan's abilities is used in conjunction with it. Perhaps one of those things is to stand in Jalan's stead if he's chosen for the lynch. But that also means he has to pay the cost of the ability, as well as the summons. So it's 6 Spades, a bullet, another bullet for the ability, and whatever the cost in dice for the ability is.

Anyone around?
I'm back from the game. despite my burning hatred of playing net, I ended up having to play goalie (both our regular and his sub were out due to unrelated injuries) AND having our team's only regular season shutout, w00t. And, I avoided crippling injury. Double w00t.
anyone around to talk? I'm waiting on laundry so have something to wear to work tomorrow.....

Avoiding work right now while sitting on my couch. Dog as a foot warmer listening to some country music on the radio on a cool summer night. Just need to grab me an alcholic beverage and then I'll be set.

So got thinking about that alcholic beverage. I have a cupboard full of homemade apple juice and trying to think what alchol would be a good mix with apple juice. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I have some vodka in the cupboard and am tempted to experiment but I have my doubts as to how that would taste.
