hope Hearthfire and Dragonborn DLC for Skyrim will be daily or flash deal this year, would love to get them. Is there some way to get a prompt when flash deal changes?

Why do you need a prompt? It's all designed after a 24 hour clock. Daily deals last 48 hours and new ones start every 24. Flash deals and Community Choice deals are on an 8 hour clock. In my time zone that means that a new Flash deal and Community Choice begins at 7 pm, 3 am, 11 am. Every day. Just memorise when the shifts happen.

That said, if you put a game you are interested in on your wishlist, then you can get an e-mail or text-message from steam when that game goes on sale. Not quite sure if this system works perfectly during an event like this but I have received some e-mail from Steam so far.

Already bought Dark Souls and Bastion so far.

The new civ 5 dlc, brave new world, is 33% off (which came out today I think?). Heard good things so i've grabbed it.

Civ 5 Gold for £7.50 is a great deal if you like the civ games.

The only one that I want or even thing about having time for is Crusader kings II it is 50% now. I think that I will wait a bit and see if it drops more.
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

FTL is an amazing game. It's one of those games were you just want to take one more run, just one more mission, just 5 more minutes and then suddenly 4 hours just passed in the blink of an eye-

Well, you missed the flash sale, but Bastion is still only $7.49, and I'm really liking it so far...

Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

With all this FTL praise, I'm sold on it. It's hard not to be at that price. Anyone play Space Pirates and Zombies or Gratuitous Space Battles before and have a comparison between those and FTL?

What kind of games do you like?

for myself, it would feel really weird not buying anyhting this sale. So I picked up Sleeping Dogs for under 7 bucks in a flash sale. Maybe I'll get to play it sometime in 2020-something

All games "should" be compatible with Windows 8. The problems begin if a game says it is ONLY compatible with one system.

I run windows 8 and I have played both new and old games on it with out a hitch.
