Your tyranny comes less from your play and more from your Eridani arrogance - you've been baiting us all for about 5 rounds now  Rest assured, if it starts looking like the power's swinging, I'll refocus my attentions.

As a former Gnawkhellian, I think you ought to be most annoyed with D'rek, CF, and Tatts for not making the bold play when Twelve made the -30 mistake. *shrug*

(That might also be a bit of guilt that I blew science buying plasma missiles for zero result.)

I agree With that. It resulted in some static rounds.

I was too busy with you (Morgoth) to make a bold move at twelve at the time :apt:

Khell if you gave up to D'rek Pollux, and CF if you gave her Altair and Epsilon Carinae how would that affect VP's?

Twelve will have all his ships dying in the GC with my master plan

Does this also take into account Vega and Eta Cephei where you have ships yet you still don't have the hexes influenced? Because if not then you may actually have the lead if you factor those points in.... at the moment of course.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I'm only counting current, actual points, not guessing at final points, so no it doesn't count Vega or Eta Cephei.

Mulligan? Come oooon, everyone else has had one!

Given that CF, D'rek, and Twelve have ignored that question.......

First, it's 'puny' not 'punny'. Second, so he's heard the full name already?

I'll provide the cover for them. Morgoth had made his move already. I would have been willing to let it slide on Tatts because he hadn't confirmed his provisional.

Question about the crowded hex markers.

  • Use the A marker for Twelve and put his ships in that square (as they are now) and use the B marker for Tatts.
  • Use the A marker for both of them and put all their ships in the one box.
However, last night it occurred to me that this isn't a physical board. I can do several different things by duplicating the 001 hex and putting it in the large open space to the left of Mu Arae.

  • Move the pop cubes over to that hex and load the center one with ships.
  • Double the size of the duplicate hex and put the ships there.
  • variations on that theme.
Any preferences?

It's not really a big deal for me whichever way you go, but my slight preference would be to have the ships being shown in the centre, so you don't have to glance over to another part of the map to find how many things are located in there. But as I said, it's not a big deal.

I'd go for just putting all the ships in that hex on one crowded board, and leave the disc and cubes on the hex itself. Line the ships up nicely so you can see the comparison of fleets and how the numbers compare for pinning.

That's what I did. even with a black hex over that spot, the starbases alone fill a third of it.

It's your baby. Do what looks best or feels right to you. You might want to consider putting all of Tappers ships in a crowded hex box too. Especially if he decides to pay me a visit as well.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.
