Now I'm good mate thanks. Give me a look at the board and I'll sort a move out in the next hour. Otherwise Tatts will probably find me in RL.

It's kids bath time!!

If I use the warp portal do I decide where I want to 'port' to? Or is it random?

You mean Improved Hull?

And the warp portal only takes you to other warp portals. If you buy the development one, you can place it in any hex you have a disc on.

Yeah advanced improved hull. Please.
So, with the portal, once it's placed, I can choose where to exit?

I've just realised that a lot of you guys have extra disc technology and I see there's still 2 quantum grid techs to be had.

So did I pay 3 Sc for that hull because of my discount?
So if I flip 3 I can research quantum grid for 13 Sc, with more discount this time?

That's looking like a good move and a way to claw some discs back.

Improved hull costs you 3 science because that is the minimum cost regardless of discount.

Quantum grid would cost you 13 science with the discount at -3.

Edit: If you are asking about buying it instead of ImpHull, it would cost you 14 sci.

Please confirm your decision and update the OP. Tapper is not going to make a choice until after yours is confirmed.

Np. And I know there is a policy of changing one's mind before the next person chooses but Tapper wants solid confirmation prior to popping up. :D

So do you confirm the Improved Hull research?

Oh well. Gone again.

Tapper your choice locks his in anyways.

Twelve, I'm assuming no public provisional until after Tapper makes a choice?

And same for IH and Twelve.

Danke.

Alas, Tapper left no provisional with me. Maybe he did with D'rek, Tatts, or Morgy.

I can go ahead and put in a public provisional as neither Solid (if he was being wishywashy but sounds like he's not) nor Tapper can change what I will do as they both have that tech and I want to keep this out of CF's hands.

Research Positron computers (-5 science)
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Advanced economy won't help you as much as the quantum grid at least in the short term. The only way advanced economy helps is if you have a lot of hexes that has those slots to populate. Currently you only have one. Though grabbing either advance economy or the quantum grid will help you gain a discovery tile from your race bonus so grabbing either one of them is recommended.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I thought that was your self-imposed duty? :D

He said he wouldn't have internet at home this week iirc. And he's in your time zone so I assume he's not at work.
