Provisional for action 4 is pass if there are no passes before me.

So much for "don't worry gnaw. I'm going to move that dread this next turn."

I needed to pass before Twelve.

Ie I think he wants what I want next round.

Why don't you just take it this round? (I'm assuming we're talking about that double ancient hex).

CF is holding us up :p

Khell do you know what your next move is? I think we have done well this week, upkeep and almost three cycles of actions.

Better than one action cycle last week :p

I'll be upgrading, though haven't quite decided what parts first. Shouldn't hold anyone else up, though.

By jingo, I am fine Tatts! Well, I have a huge amount of work to do up to the end of June - writing an article - and unfortunately my computer decided to delete one of my very important files! That was...depressing. So unfortunately, my plans this weekend and up until 1st July involve 15-hour work days and not much else (though I am going to Wimbledon next week). But from July, two months (yes, MONTHS), of holiday! Whoop!

How about yourself? By the way, do you mind that I still call you Tatts? I'm finding it very difficult to switch to this GP malarkey.

I have fond memories of Tattersail and have no problems with that being my nickname :p

What do you work as? Journalist? Who do you work for? Say that in an Austin Powers voice!

Jayne would be jealous, she loves the Tennis. We'll be watching. I do not know what you look like so I couldn't "spot" you even if I tried, unless you streaked or something and told me you were going to do it!

This weekend I have an interview with the bank about mortgages, the joys, then a big fat nothing planned. That means possible visits or unexpected trips will happen. So on Friday I saw nothing and on Monday I have a story! That is how it usually goes :p

I'm a historian/lecturer, and I think you knew that already :p Of course, when I said holiday, I mean unpaid holiday, as I'll be between jobs on those two months. So the actual holidaying part will be mostly a staying-at-home, reading a book kind of holiday.

I'll be on Centre Court on the first Tuesday...though not actually on the court, unfortunately. I'll be the handsomest guy in attendance, that's how you'll know me. If I could have been anything, I would have loved to be a professional tennis player, I love the sport and I love travelling and seeing the world, so it combines both those things in a well-paid package :p

Mortgages - how grown up! I live in London, so a mere glance at house prices is enough to put me off for another decade. Or two. I need to find me an extremely wealthy wife to sponge off of, methinks.

You are right, isn't that what Tapper is as well? Also some others on here? As to your 2 month holiday, the best kind. Not having to do anything. do you live with parents? It said on the news the other day, to raise a deposit for a mortgage, in London, it can take a couple, up to 10 years to save. Probably because the house prices are extortionate. We are looking at house likes this http://www.rightmove...l?premiumA=true which would cost us £80k, yet the same house would cost you £500k just because of your location.

I think you should take pictures of your trip to Wimbledon and post them in the "good-looking" thread.

OK, I'm back.

Had to proof read a paper a buddy is submitting so he can get his corrections in before end of day. Unfortunately RL takes massive precedence over this game.

Just going through the provisionals now and figuring out WTF I am going to do.

Good. I'm used to you S "Tatts".
Go look at that 3 minute bit by Dave Allen that I linked earlier. That's Khell. :p

That's insane, those pictures make me want to weep. That is at least £500k in London (and more likely, the house would have been divided into two or three tiny flats). I heard that same thing, about having to save for ten years. Absolutely bonkers. And rent is a joke too. Just yesterday, I passed an advert at a bus stop for student accommodation from *only* £300 per week (that's student accommodation, not even for full-time salaried, AND a studio flat).

I moved back in with the family a few months back, yeah, whilst waiting for the new job to come up (and having split from the girlyfriend). But once I start getting paid again from September, I'll be looking for a one-bed rental to throw all my money at somewhere. Or possibly move in with some friends, although that's all quite vague at present.

Is it not possible for you to apply for a job elsewhere in the country, I wouldn't touch London with a barge pole!
