I see no way back for Khell. Does anyone agree with this assessment? Can he surprise us all somehow?

Khell actually will have a half way decent material generation and he should still have enough science to grab positron computers to slap on his cruisers to fight back next round. Plus if Tapper decides to go after CF through the wormhole then CF will have a two front war and will be in serious shit. Khell isn't eliminated and as long as he can get two researches in he will still be able to generate a fair amount of points by end game.

If only the wheel spun in his direction...

You fuckface :p

All the good stuff was gone by the time it came round to me this round, I had to make do with Tachyon drive Posted Image

And you are saying Tachyon drive isn't good? They are awesome!!! It allowed me to move all over the board last game with my armada. It was the only way I could have taken the shellworld off of Khell (along with the wormhole generator of course) as I literally moved my Dreadnaught from one end of the board to the next with one move action. It's very hard for people to envision they are in trouble from a ship so far away. That makes it's easier to sneak in and take something off of another player without them even knowing it was danger in the first place.

And has Khell figured out what he is going to do this round? I don't remember him stating anything yet but there was a lot going on this morning so I may have missed it.

That is why my face is rolling the eyes, the drive also gives good initiative :p

He said pass but that was before CF did a Scabandri Bloodeye

Tapper can spend his effort on me, but he'd have to realize that two massive neighbours (twelve and Gnaw) are a bigger threat than some pirates. Crush me at the expense of two game rounds and get squished right back by Twelve / Gnaw when he's not expecting it.

Please everyone just ignore anything this man says. JUST BE A GOOD MOD SLAVE AND SILENCE OTHERWISE!

And yep, sticking to my original plan. Colonise advanced materials planets and PASS. Retreat that interceptor as soon as possible - if possible.

Goodbye Khellopolis. I vow that we shall reclaim our homeland - in this world or the next!

Looks like there is going to be a flood of cheap quality seafood coming on the market soon. Requisition offices make sure you have proper freezer storage in place. We wouldn't want anything to spoil.

Okay so if Gnaw and Tatts comfirm they are passing it's back to Morgoth. I'm gonna have to figure out if I'm going to gamble with what I've got now or if I want to do one more upgrade.....

Tapper you are on deck as SS has a provisional in as well to upgrade some stuff.

I'll provisionally move my two dreadnaughts to the GC barring anything crazy by Tapper that adversly affects moi.

I provisionally pass.
Reactions (if any) depend on Gnaw, Twelve and CF.

Uh, folks. I think CF is jumping the gun a bit. I don't see that Tapper has actually made a 4th turn decision.

If Tapper hasn't made a turn 4 move, then technically CF hasn't moved either, right?

Yeah but he passes then CF makes his move, he would not know what CF was about to do before he does it.

CF went to all the trouble of editing my post and The Khan's post. But not Tapper's.
So is all of this a sham to guage reactions? If Tapper doesn't confirm the pass, can CF then withdraw his movement orders?

See above there Gnaw. Tapper did pass and any reactions will depend on what you, I or CF do. I moved away, you did nothing and CF moved away. So if Tapper wants to move into an unoccupied space of either mine, yours or CF's then he will, else he probably will not do a reaction.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Tapper provisionally passed, which I processed, and he gave no indication he might make take it back. He only would have done so based on moves prior to his anyway (and none were threatening him in any way).

Then twelve moved, and I moved, but for him to go back now and claim he wants a reaction based on turns that happen after his is a bit unseemly I think.

That's why most folks put in "as long as XYZ doesn't do anything crazy, I provisionally pass". When I came around to him, he had no such conditions stated, so I processed it and moved on.

EDIT -

It's a funny product of trying to play the round semi-simultaneously on a forum, but in general I think the way I confirmed and moved along with the turn order was fair. I'd do it the same (and have been doing so already) for any other player.

I hate that I didn't understand the game better and now have to spend cash, but I think a reaction upgrade is in order. Muon source on starbase blueprint.

I really don't think it's necessary for you to do a reaction. It's called a reaction for a reason. What are you reacting to?!

I think I'm going to Pass on my next go around. As tempting as getting 2 more missle parts on my dreads is and also increasing my odds of winning without losing a dread I think I want the money more and will roll the dice with my luck. As long as the dice fall in the middle of the bell curve I will win before the Ancient even gets a shot off. Even if the missles hit below average and net 3 or 4 hits/points of damage then I still have a shot at taking the ancient out with my cannons if I get them both to hit.

Because if I don't kill the ancient in the opening round my game will probably be over.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I have to do it sometime. I should have placed it when I found it but...

CF, Khell,

Shouldn't the Cruiser blueprint on Khell's board only have one improved hull part on it not two?
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

No, he upgraded hulls on both interceptor and cruiser this round. A previous upgrade put the first double-hull on his cruiser.

I think...
