@CF can we both research plasma cannon?

Thinking about a GC play in 2nd round Twelve?

That dread is going to be a fucker to take down though. First shot (unless you make double engine upgrades) and he has enough hull to make you regret all of your misses.

I don't have enough umph to go after the GC in round 2. I do have a plan in place for round three however.

Which double ancient tile are you going after this round CF, Zeta Draconis or Arcturus?
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I was thinking you looked too weak to go for the center Twelve this go. Glad you assuaged my fears.

I wonder where D'rek is going seem as she built her dread away from the center, she is poised to nick Morgy's triple ancient hex.

The one in the south most likely, haven't entirely decided.

EDIT - mostly because potential diplo with Khell is beneficial, given my scant array of useable planets.

Fuck it, keep the ancient hive tile - everybody loves tragic hilarity. Place it oriented as it is.

I am going to rotate it 180 degrees out of spite!

Shameless, misdirected, purposeless spite!

And tragic hilarity has already ensued.

So where did SS disapear to? He did a drive by post and then vanished. I wonder if he has a plan for this round or not? Going after a double ancient hex with just two interceptors and no computers probably isn't the most wise of choices. I hope he's been talking to IH or somebody regarding strategy.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I wouldn't have a chance in hell against the center. Yup, going to do us all a favour and blow up the hive before it attacks us!

I'd prefer the Hive than you being one move away from moving in on me

I thought you were telling us that you didn't have a chance in hell against the hive either. Did my analysis change your mind? Though I don't see you as much of a gambler D'rek. What other improvements do you have in mind? Another double hull probably but I don't think that would be enough to tip the odds in your favor much....

Hmmm if I wasn't so swamped I might try and figure out what that devisous mind of yours has in store.

Meh. I have the time but neither the experience nor the desire to delve into that twisted abyss. Besides, there is a much simpler way:

Tapper, what's D'rek planning?

Khell, you should rotate it at least one click. The way it is now a die roll of 1 means nobody get's to play with a hive ship. Snake eyes is unlikely but could happen.

If d'rek brings in her cruiser the odds get much more in her favour very quickly I think (though chances are she'd lose the cruiser), she'd have 80+% and an upgrade would take it to 90%+. Mind you these percentages are all my quick head calcs, so I could be way off. And she has hardly any moves, so she probably can't actually do that. Or she can attack with the dread and retreat if things don't go well in the first round or two.

So in conclusion I have no idea what she's trying to do.

Not much choice. She and SS are safe from each other.
Advanced Economics is probably a goal.
There's one more planet to settle, too.
Morgoth, on the other end of the Hive World, has more cash income and more mats, so she needs to be of equal economic strength by the time the Hive World goes down - preferably by taking it herself.

Ultimately though, it comes down to getting the Hive World and 107, which is hidden behind it and just as juicy.
If Morghy gets there first, take them from him (he might plan the same).
It won't taking the centre in the short term, but it will be getting access to it and presenting a threat.
Everyone is entitled to his own wrong opinion. - Lizrad

Well that was your choice back in round 1. You set the ball in motion. In this analogy I am a ball.
