Screw it, I should add another computer to my Starbases but as this is the last round and I don't care if I win and only have one ship or all of them left I'll take....

@Tatts, you should make sure your ships have the same amount of shields. If you have different amounts of shields on each ship, if twelve misses your high shield ships, he can just target low shield ships. as things stand twelves missiles aren't going to hit your big ships, but will just target the interceptors instead. I've not got a great grasps of the builds here, but I suspect you will do better with shields on your interceptors

dreads should have

-4 shield 6 hull + 2 computers

cruiser

-2 shield 5 hull

interceptor

- 2 shield 1 hull

yeah that is in my turn #11 when khell mentioned I did not have energy enough for two phase shields on cruiser, I put one on cruiser and one on interceptor.

You shouldn't make ninja edits to orders. You should really make correcting posts to them instead. Now that I know that I'm not likely to hit even your interceptors with my missiles on my interceptors I'm thinking of making a change from missiles to cannons on my interceptors.

I have done all my moves in advance, so in theory they are all still provisionals seem as the last update was for turn 9? I put all my actions in today to speed up the process, but technically you D'rek, Morgy, Tapper and company can and all do have the options of reactions up to turn 12, yes?

You are clearly suiciding and you still have disks to counter what I do to counter you. So as soon as I do a reaction you will just put missiles and computers back on your interceptors and take out my interceptors or maybe get lucky and take out my Dread. So if I keep things the way they are I still feel good enough that during my missile round I can take out at least three of your interceptors but then you and I would still be tied up with the number of ships we have as my interceptors will be worthless the remainder of the battle.

So How do I see things play out during the engagement rounds....

Most likely I'll land 2 antimatter cannon blasts So I'll take down one of your dreads. I think that will leave you 4 ships.
Odds are 50-50 that you land two hits and take out my Dread.
Then it's trade a hit for hit from here on out.

I'll focus on your dread and get a hit

WCS you land two hits and I'm down to three starbases

I should land a hit and take out your Dread...

This battle isn't going to be as much of a landslide win as I hoped.

A few lucky shots early enough in the battle and I could be in some serious trouble.

Maybe I should do the upgrade to my starbases to add either another Antimatter cannon or another computer....

But if I do an upgraged or move for that matter I won't be able to reclaim my homeworld.

I guess I need to be content that I have liberated my homeworld and :p I can totally bankrupt Capella.
