I'm at -5 mats now.

putting another hull on puts me -$3. I'll pay that if I can get an even slightly reasonable odds for saving the mats.

Khell, it might be wise to do a Turn 9 reaction to put a starbase in your home world. Just in case.

IHCF still hasn't colonized the science planet in that one hex. Implies he has other uses for his colony ships.

Gnaw,

You forgot to deduct the 6 materials I spent on the starbases on my player board. Only have 17 materials going into the next round.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

To refresh your memory that is the part where if I fail to implement your "fuck twelve over" Grand Strategy you have the right to terminate the contract at 50% of base fee and I forfeit all bonuses, incentive payments, etc. However, if I implement the plan and you interfere in the execution thereof you are obligated to pay me full contract price an 50% of all unfulfilled incentive goals. Immediately.

@D'rek. Can you give me the key to translating your Orokos shorthand? Some of it I can decipher, but most I can't.

Given a battle with initiative order: A - 2 dreads, w/ 2 plasma cannons, B - 1 cruiser w/ 1 ion & 1 plasma, B - 2 dreads w/ 2 antimatter, A - 1 interceptor w/ lots and lots of holes
Using Okaros, the mechanics would be the following?
First is A's dread. Roll 4d6 == (5,1,1,2) so A hits with (5,2 damage) and the other 3 miss.

Second is B's cruiser. Roll 1d6 for ion and roll 1d6 for plasma or Roll 2d6 with first result being the ion and second plasma?
Next Roll 4d6 for the 4 AMCs.
Rinse, repeat.

As an example, from last game:


Description R9H206_m - Kh Int (9xYm)
Results 9d6: 32 [9d6=3, 5, 4, 6, 3, 4, 1, 5, 1]

Description R9H206_e1 - Tw Crs (1xR), Kh Int (3xY)
Results 4d6: 9 [4d6=3, 1, 3, 2]


R9 = Round 9
H206 = Hex 206
_m = missile round
_e1 = engagement round 1
Tw = twelve
Kh = Khell
Int = interceptor(s)
Crs = cruiser(s)

I list the ships in initiative order, the stuff in brackets is what they are rolling, and the results go in the same order.

So first is the missile round, with Khell's interceptors rolling 9 yellow dice (9xYm), and the results are what is shown.

Then the first engagement is rolled, with twelve's cruiser rolling a single red die first, then Khell's interceptors rolling a total of 3 yellow dice. The results are 3 for twelve's cruisres and 1, 3, 2 for khell's interceptors.

For very complex battles, I did multiple rolls per engagement round rather than trying to do all of them at once.

Also, it helps a lot to list the stats out ahead of time so you get the initiative order right and so on.
