I can't populate both. I can populate three slots max, so I went with the materials planet, the money planet, and once of the science slots on Beta Hydri.

I will...no worries. Just need an answer to my question about Twelve now. Since it directly affects SS's science if he chooses to change his colony ship resource, I hesitate to lay out the new tech too early.

So what is the grand coordinated plan for next round?

We need somebody to pin Twelve's dreads (Khell) and sacrifice their ships in the process, and somebody to attack the homeworld, possibly sacrificing ships in the process (me), and then somebody has to bite the bullet and hit the GC with everything they've got (probably GP or D'rek). Would not hurt if Tapper went ahead and cappped Zeta herculis in the process. Might as well knock down as many systems as possible and force him to defend on all fronts.

Not sure exactly who's in the best position to attack the GC. D'rek can easily defend against Morgoth with a cruiser or possibly a starbase, freeing her ships up. Tech next round might make a huge difference too. There are some real game-changers left to be drawn.

Might also be good for Tapper to strategically pick direction of play so that pinning moves can happen right away.

We all will have to attend counselling for trust issues before we pull it off!

This 'sacrifice yourself for the greater good' is a concept which is alien to me. I understand it needs to happen if twelve is to be cut down to size, but I can't have that be the only outcome. Even if it cuts down twelve's VPs, that's no good to me because I'm so far behind (it merely gives someone else a chance to win). I require promises of systems and VPs.

Yesterday was a holiday so I was busy with the festivities. Sorry about my absence. I need some time to figure out if the extra science will make a difference in the tech I can grab this round. I'm still on holiday so if the little ones wake up needy I might not get you an answer any time soon. Sorry Tatts I want to know what tech is available too.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

You have enough that you won't need an extra 5, take it for VP's for the systems you are about to lose :p

Take the science. It gives me more flexibility on my research choices. The problem is trying to figure out what will be the best balance between my longterm goals and current turn needs.....
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.
