Not a threat. Just a statement of fact. If he wants to throw away his tin cans he is more than welcome to it. Actually I encourage it! A bloodied nosed man machine gives me a few rounds reprieve before he can recover would be fine by me. Or better yet I'd swoop in and take his homeworld if he gives me grief in taking that hex. I'd totally let D'rek take down the GC to put the computer people in their place.

EDIT: I looked at SS's discs.
I assume you'll trade in money and science for +12 mats, then build 2 dreads, upgrade to plasma cannon and perhaps a +1 computer.
Y'see, the problem I have here is this: what's your guarantee you won't swoop for my systems, anyway, once you have Zeta Herculi?

And as an aside, there's the chance that my fighters will be able to take out a dread, which would suck a bit for you, even if you take the system after that (there's a 40% chance according to my simulations (with an upgraded fighter) that such a thing would happen).

There are no guarantees in this game but I would gladly exchange diplomatic relations with you if that would help ease your mind. I fully plan on making a play on the GC after I take Zeta Herculi and once there I will be settling in to defend the territory from, ooooh, most everyone else in the game. It would be very fool hardy of me to attack you deep into your homeworld and leave me vunerable in the center.

Too late but the good news is that my head's release valve has been adjusted to release the pent up pressure so I can survive a slight delay in the action so It's all good. On the bright side, (Am I really saying bright side?), I have some deadlines here at work that will kick my butt so no eclipse distractions for a week is just what is needed.

We're also free and clear up to SolidSnape for Round2 actions. Might as well get those processed as soon as possible.
