Words of Radiance on kindle dropped down to $3.75 today: Words of Radiance (The Stormlight Archive, Book 2) [Kindle Edition] Brandon Sanderson (Author)

And if you're a Sanderson fan anyway, you might as well also grab The Rithmatist for $3.56: The Rithmatist [Kindle Edition] Brandon Sanderson (Author), Ben McSweeney (Illustrator)

"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

If you have not read this series yet, you are a cold and dead inside zombie who deserves to be punched in the torso by a superhero this is a great chance to do so.

I bought 2-4 of the Clines series while it was cheap - I think it was on the FB thread that I saw it.

Also saw the Larry Correia book Monster Hunter on there, for free - Enjoyed it quite well, but I like that kind of modern military w/ fantasy elements stuff occasionally

I recently signed up at http://bookbub.com where you can get email notification of cheap/free ebooks based on how you set up your account. You choose your country, the platform(s) and genres you're interested in, and how often you want to be emailed. I've downloaded probably half a dozen free ebooks from Amazon since I signed up a little over a week ago.

Mostly a matter of timing: I was on vacation when I first signed up, and posting links via smartphone is a pain.

Here are some of my pickups that are still free (on Amazon.com, anyway.) Note that I can't vouch for the quality of any of these, they just sounded like they might be interesting, and the reviews didn't turn me off:

Surveillance (Ghost Targets #1) by Aaron Pogue
The Heretic (Templar Chronicles #1) by Joseph Nassise
Panglor (Star Rigger #1) by Jeffrey A. Carver
The Change (Unbounded #1) by Teyla Branton

EBooks 2, 3 and 4 still $1.99 people.

Sure, ebk 1 is a hefty $7.99, but that's four glorious ebooks of superhero vs zombiepocalypse for $14.

So worth your dollars.

Ran though book four in a day, while at work. Oops. Only one I hadn't read cause I wasn't sure about the premise but turned out to be great. Well executed.
