I'm having a problem with this whole "picture of Tatts, funny drawing" etc. I don't think this is P-S screwing with us, that would be unfair, obviously we will all try to figure it out.

I can't seem to come up with any interpretation better than that others have offered, but it has to be significant in some way

If I need to remind you, you did put us at the top of the "suspicious" list by not getting NK'd last night.

My thoughts are that the role is likely to be an information role (maybe a tracker? Or watcher?) and can see if someone performed an NA, but can only post about it in pics in resolution.
On being on suspicion list: some people may find you or me suspicious because we havent been NK'd, but others have noticed that scum may have purposefully not killed either of us so town would think that we were scum, which reinforces the fact that we are town. So its kinda WIFOM.

The problem I have with that is there is now some sort of other finder revealing stuff. Your finds now look kinda scumy, and with you doing a find on GH just as he gets NKed. Doesn't look good.

I just don't know who should get voted on first. You, Gnaw, or Tatts.

I will wait to hear from the of the people before placing a vote.

If the message were that Tatts isn't town, it would mean a finder. I agree that Azath looks scummy now because the odds of doing a Find on the guy who got Nkd are very low, but super convenient for him.

Did Azath ever even say why he did a find on Gust? I mean, Gust wouldn't have been high up on my list of people to do a find on. I thought he was VPI, whereas Tats, Bubba and myself were all getting some 'might be scum' love. If I had been a finder, I wouldn't have wasted a find on a VPI player, but one of the ones who were already getting some attention, so I could potentially dig their graves the next day if they came up killer. *shrugs*

All in all, I simply don't trust Azath's reveal, everything has been just a little too convenient for him.

The more I think about it, the worse Azath looks. If you're scum pretending to be a finder, and you pick someone who's dead as your 'find', then everybody else remains a suspect and you don't run the risk of highlighting your scum friends if you decide to say that they're 'inno'. Having said that, there is actually one way I can explain to myself why he might have picked Gust to find, but I'm not going to say it on thread before Azath comes back and gives his own explanation.


The other thing we can do is lynch Tattersail in order to see how his CF matches up to the possible interpretation of the picture. If he's scum, great - and we can probably lynch Azath to boot then, as I don't see two finder mechanisms being here. If he's inno, then we know to ignore the pictures from now on, and not get hung up on them way late into the game.

Actually, I was waiting to get some counter-arguments from other people. If I had spent 4-5 posts arguing against the case against me, I would have been seen as scrambling, which would make me look even more like scum. It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation, but rather than post a million responses to the same case, I felt it was better to post a refutation, then wait for others to actually comment on my posts before continuing the disucssion.

I don't want us to make a mistake based upon an erroneous belief in how a townie should act, blah blah blah. I want us to catch a killer, otherwise tomorrow is D-Day.

On break right now, classes in 10 mins. I see multiple people want to know why I found Gusty. First off, I wanted to be sure he wasn't scum, because Gusty seems most like a towny when scum. He was being, even though targetting me, very constructive and helpful to town. That is when, due to multiple past experiences, i am most suspicious of him.
And I didn't see his NK coming either, and figured that knowing he was inno would give me a completely CI townie to trust.

Well. This is not what I hoped Azath would say.

At one point the day before, Gnaw (who Azath said he'd found inno), said that one of the people he was most suspicious of was Gust. Now, I thought that maybe Azath had seen this and, assuming that Gnaw is a genuine inno because of their find, had decided to follow up on Gnaw's suspicion of Gust.

But apparently not.
