HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

Yay for the site being back up! I was worried that it was just my phone or something. Work got hit by a massive virus yesterday, so we have been cut off from the internets for 2 full days, and I hadn't been able to access the forum all day today.

Anyway, gonna read up and comment.

Awesome, who's the bugger writing offensive material on the previous page? The work servers are blocking it because they've detected bad language...

HO, while as always I appreciate flattery, ever since that game where scum snuggled up to me and then road my good will until the end, I tend to be suspicious of such cuddles. Now, you haven't really contributed that much and the past two posts of just agreeing with me smacks of symping.

If I was scum, you'd be stupid to try getting my attention since whenever I've been a scum killer, I tend to knock off my symp.

That all being said, I'm dedicated to playing out the Azath case unless someone spots something more compelling that I have missed. But bro, you are on my list, especially if you don't back up your cuddles with hard cold evidence of your own.

Alright so I don't hate the case against Azath so I will be willing to put my votw there, but I can't say that I love it either.

I think that Tats pointing out that the KL nk was meant to make him look bad when no one else even hinted at that is a little suspect, like maybe he is trying to turn us away from that before someone else picks up on it. But I can totally see that as scum trying to point us at him, specially given that KL's vote was on him at the end of the day, if I am not mistaken. Seems like the kind of mistake Tats wouldn't make.

Gust and HO's recent back and forth kind of struck me as a little like distancing. Like, HO says something a little innocuous about Gust and Gust calls him out on it. Am interested to see where that goes.

I also feel like Starling hasn't really been involved in anything much at all, I think maybe he is trying to lie low. Gonna go read up a bit more to see what contributions he has actually made, if I don't find anything interesting I think I will probably vote that way.

Whenever the site goes down, I'm always paranoid it's just for me.

Ok, HO, you're right, I have no hard evidence aside from a flimsy link between you and Shin, when it looked for all the world as if you would be lynched and then suddenly the train changed to Venge.

But it's still more than you've put forward. Care to share?

Gust's Azath case seems to rest on links with me and Blend. I have to doubt it straight away then, as I know that I have no links, scummy or otherwise, with Azath. However, that's not to say that Azath isn't scum, just that Gust's reasoning is at least partly wrong. This is my way of saying I have no read on Azath one way or the other.

If I had to force myself to move away from HO, and pick one or two other people who ping, I would go for....(hold on one sec)...

Erm, you don't hate the case against Azath? Isn't that case at least partly based on association with you, or am I misremembering? So you're willing to admit you're scum?

Or does one of us not read properly?

Alright, upon closer inspection, I can say that I'm a little more suspicious of Starling. Day 1, he didn't really participate much - a post asking Tats why he moved away from supicions of EM, then voting for HO cause he was suspicious of the train redirect. I personally thought the case on HO was crap, yesterday, so I wasn't terribly surprised when the train redirected. Venge was certainly acting a bunch more scummy, even if he did CF as inno.

The thing that bothers me, though, is his behaviour for this day. He basically spent the entire day trying to paint Tats as a symp. He votes Shin, accusing him of having redirected the train, when there was like a triple cross post (which, admittedly, I was a part of) that all moved the train from HO to Venge, and pushing the idea that Tats is Shin's symp. When Shin rebuffs the accusations, he backs off from the Shin attack, but maintains his suspicions of Tats being a symp. I think that Starling is, in fact, the symp, and that he's trying to paint Tats as a symp so that we'll disregard Tats as a possible killer, or that we'll let him slide thinking that he's a symp, so there's no point in voting him off.

I know this jives with my earlier statement about Tats not being dumb enough to kill someone as obviously linked to him as KL was, but, I dunno, Starling's behaviour just rubs me the wrong way. For now, I will

vote Tattersail

As I think he's probably being protected by Starling.

I would still be willing to move my vote to Azath, but I think this is at least as solid a case, so I thought I'd put it out there.

You're right, Khell, a large part of the case against Azath was Gust pointing out that I must be yours and his symp, but just cause part of his argument is wrong, doesn't discount the whole case. This paragraph below is what struck me...

And now looking back, you have to start wondering about Azath and Khells. Azath is lurking, and generally I find him helpful and nice, but he seems to be more nervous and hidden this game. Khells is subdued, depressed even, and while that may be just life for him at the moment, I'm wondering if he is tamping down his passion to keep from his usual flirting with a lynch (much like our scummy Tats and EM are currently doing).

I'm willing to let you slide for now Khell, you haven't struck me as terribly scummy, albeit somewhat misguided. However, Azath has been pretty quiet, and he's usually a helpful player. Even when he's voting, he's not doing a whole lot.

So yes, I would be comfortable with an Azath lynch, but I still think that we would have more luck with a Tats lynch.

Am I really the only one who genuinely finds the switch from HO a little fishy? He was at L-1.

So it's not so much a fact of liking Gust's case, as it is having a feeling about Azath.

Still got the blinkers on, eh Khell?

Can you really say that the case against HO was good, and sleep at night?

Yeah sure, a huge train redirection like that is usually suspicious, but when a case is shit, and it's Day 1 and someone like Venge pulls the scummy shit he did, my suspicions get a little assuaged.

MafiaManager is still down, due to the site crashing this morning. It probably needs to be reset, and resynced to the site, and no one has gotten around to it, or yet to think about these smaller aspects of a full server reboot. Therefore, we're doing updates manually, so if you spot an error, please let us know.
