Oh somebody thought that they would be funny but they left a loop hole that I took advantage of.

A loophole in what?

A small restriction that was placed on me.

Ok I get it you aren't going to tell us.

Anything we should be worried about?

No there is a glaring loop hole. Nothing to worry about at all.

That's what public betas are for. :sofa:

Since I have no idea of the behind the scenes mechanics, this may or may not be useful: put a third alt into the Action PM conversations. That third alt is password protected. Then resolve in order received. That would maybe do a couple of things.

  • Give players incentive to get provisionals in
  • Punish low activity people.

That 3rd alt would still have every Action PM as a seperate PM convo so it wouldn't be any different than P-S. And resolving by looking up the times of every action submission would be a big pain in the ass. Ironman day action rules might make it a bit easier.

I mean have everyone's Action PM sent to that third alt. No editing, no player access. So resolution might (or might not) easier. Just go down the list as they come in. I've not modded (DM, but that dates me) anything online ever, so am still very much adjusting to the differences between online versus in person gaming.

I'm not sure I get it.

The way it is now if I understand correctly, PS has to read 15 separate Action PM conversations. By adding a third alt who receives a copy of the Action PMs from everyone the resolutions become time based. I got my movement in 22 minutes before you ordered the raid on me, therefore your raid fails because I was out of range when you ordered it.

There is a big difference between modding live and online. For online you want to make it as simple as possible. Less alts to log into less shit to mess up and forget. Use to be that high tmdi games would have more then one mod just because it was to crazy to have one person do it.. But everyone wants to play in them and in this game nobody is dying (other then obdi) so nobody can help mod.

Yup. And we didn't even get the desired number of players and then 2 got modkilled without ever checking in so co-mods weren't really an option unfortunately. Atrah is pretty active and has experience modding - lynch him to make him co-mod! :D

Indeed, your gameplan is silly :sofa: Picking YET ANOTHER target. You'll never get anywhere that way. What happened to focus, eh?

Those people with their votes currently on Karosis - what do you plan to do?

But my raid was submitted earlier but provisional upon so-and-so condition while your movement was submitted before you actually modified your storage PM to reflect its cost...

That would be fun I admit. But no. I would have voted for a ton of people all game if that was an option.

Listen - there are two probably candidates for the Sacrosanct - me or Fener. No one else had anywhere near enough votes to be a viable lynch choice. I claimed the sacrosanct, Fener hasn't rebuffed my claim. Don't you think if it was Fener he'd throw me under the bus real quick?

Well duh I gotta play along! How would it look if I immediately shouted "DEATH TO THE KHANS" and ferociously charged after some random player who wasn't even on the raider *cough* Telas *cough* ?

If we really think Karosis is Sacrosanct, I'm willing to switch my vote. But remember, that doesn't prevent whoever we swing to from throwing up a Sacrosanct on their tile before we lynch them as well. No guarantees here.

Okay looks like Fener the (Fracker) saved his ass yet again. I'm kinda in the I like Atrahal boat at the moment but I don't know where to pigeonhole him yet so I'll go after someone I'm fairly sure isn't in my faction.

Do what throw Karosis under a bus. I would but he lives far away from me?

Oh you mean say that I did the sacrosanct. Why bother? This way nobody knows for sure who did what. Which keeps me from being lynched anyway. After all who wants to waste yet another lynch.

Wow Silanah those 3 posts you made today sure were helpful. Well they'd be helpful if someone wants to hear inane comments regurgitated for the 5th time and a demonstrated lack of reading comprehension (you're arguing fener might be innocent with no mention to my post about why it doesn't matter... did you even bother to read the thread?). Right now you are by far the least involved in the game thread and it really really shows. So what are you hiding?

Yeah man I can't believe I posted so little content when so many people were around to discuss stuff!!

As to why it doesn't mater...I don't know if Fener is in my faction. I agree with the theory that the vote-blocking ability is so strong to points to Qadi, but I'm generally cautious about accidentally lynching someone in my own faction., especially when the case against him gives me the impression he's being framed.

As for "least involved in the game thread" well no shit, I wasn't around when all the discussion happened Monday.

He doesn't have time. He gets on a couple of times a day and lays his vote down on either myself or Karosis. I don't know who is next on his list.
