The Northern Deserts (day 6)
The Mirror (battle phase 6)
The Road to Ishktar Oasis (dusk phase 6)
The Square of the Camel (night phase 6)
The Palace of the Khalif (dawn phase 7)

Whoever did the northern desert is still there as of now. It is day.

Whoever did Mirror is still there as of now.

Karosis how are you trying to claim that Sacrosanct? You are trying to tell us you moved 3 spaces in 2 days?

It is Day 6. 7 hours and 13 minutes remaining

15 Players still alive: Ampelas, Anomandaris, Atrahal, Emurlahn, Fener, Galain, Karosis, Olar Ethil, Ruse, Silanah, Sorrit, Spite, Telas, Tellan, Tulas Shorn

8 votes to lynch, 8 votes to go to night.

4 Votes for Fener ( Sorrit, Ruse, Karosis, Galain )
4 Votes for Karosis ( Atrahal, Emurlahn, Anomandaris, Ampelas )
1 Vote for Atrahal ( Spite )

Players not voted: Fener, Olar Ethil, Silanah, Telas, Tellan, Tulas Shorn

-------------------

A group of Holy Men stumbled ahead of the Hadj, trying to assemble a Vanguard of the Faithful, as they called it. Temple defenders, to guard against the expected plunder of the savages coming from the Northern Desert - regardless of whether they were Golden Standard or the local tribes or the Nepeth, who had started to reach out with reconnaissance in force.
They intended to make their stand on the edge of the Mirror. Before I could send in the City Guard to disperse them, they'd entrenched themselves and were blessed by several imams. I grudgingly hired a regiment of Janissaries to shield their inevitable rout once they were to clash with any of the other armed powers - who had made a lifestyle out of war, instead of an impromptu calling in a moment of madness.

The Mirror is now Sacrosanct.

Well there goes that... but that is what we wanted to happen. 8 worship down the toilet plus possibly the Hadjs and Fener won't be on the A Place of Worship tile anymore either. His supplies aren't going to last.

You're assuming that was Fener? Why?

I was assuming Fener was on the Northern Sands but once that extra vote come in for him the Mirror was Sacrosanct. We know you are down the bottom left hand side of the map, in and around the Nepeth Empire. So that has to be a Fener Sacrosanct. We could try and speed lynch him on tomorrow but that leaves you or Spite as our next best option. Spite must be the one that started the Hadj from the Desert.

I'm sorry, what? What in the world gives you that impression?

When you were up for lynch last this is where you were hiding.

and speaking of the bazaar thread - whatever HoAre put up the delat expedition: "G46J - 1 Delat trading expedition for the price of 4000 dinari." - that should be R46J not G46J. I know the delats are masters of magic storage but I don't think you can stuff an entire expedition in a crate and still expect it to perform.

So wait if Karo is still on the mirror and sacro'd it does that mean fener is still on the northern desert and vulnerable to a lynch? Or is it like P-S said before and they get the benefits of both tiles so Fener would get the mirror sacro too?

Sometimes, mortals astound me. The Red Inquisition has been assisting Silenah in rolling up a smuggling network. Her being the Qadi of Sweet Corruption, I more or less expected her to try and reorganize the gangs into a more efficient, more criminal organization under her own control. Instead, the fools gathered for one last banquet, where they all committed suicide by drinking poisoned wine, apart from their leader, who ran. It might be that he poisoned them himself, it might be that they did it voluntarily - but they all died where they sat, bloated purple faces with black tongues lolling, too swollen to be contained by their slack jaws. I can't believe there wasn;t one of them who didn't drink it, or one who tried to vomit the contents of his stomach up when his fellows started dying. Silenah is in an extremely bad mood. She plans to score the desert with the Blood Guard, to send Inquisitors to Ishktar, the City Guard to comb out the Quarter of the Coin and the Palace Guard to force their way into the Mahesh Quarter. For a moment, I was tempted to allow her, but I know what kind of damage she can do when let loose. Instead, I went to see the man held under house arrest. I really wonder how he managed all he did, just a single man. He has paid for the crime of stirring up revolution and I looked into his soul and found more crimes there, but he can serve me still, in one capacity or another.

When this lynch went through the Nepeth Empire was Sacrosanct. You have just claimed Sacrosancting the Mirror.

So if you didn't Sacrosanct the first time, how are you not lynched?

I think, Fener would only profit from the Sacro, if he was on the Mirror this day phase.

There is a faction specific retainer called the Mahesh Honor Guard or something like that which is destroyed instead of you when you get lynched and iirc we assumed that Karosis was saved by that retainer.

I think he is bluffing and hasn't got another one or the money to buy worship. He'd need to sell a bit I think to get some. One of them is vulnerable. Thing is Fener is saying nothing.

Day 2 Sacrosanct - Nepeth Empire (Tellan)
Day 3 Sacrosanct - Northern Desert (Fener)
Day 4 Sacrosanct - The Mirror (Spite)

I don't remember any others in those 3 days. Karosis didn't sacrosanct anywhere.

That of course does not preclude the possibility that Karosis was on the Northern Desert or moved to it to profit off of Fener sacrosancting it. But when it was sacro'd on day 3 Fener was the only one with more than 1 vote.

Mahesh Quarter. It's a GoB faction specific building. I thought that had pretty much been figured out.

You don't get the benefits of both.
Instead, you target people and are targeted by people as if you were on both tiles (or all tiles travelled to/from) that phase.
Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.

I'm just going to straight up admit I don't understand locations and moves at all...

Next ToD game P-S I think moves should happen in-between phases so we don't have to worry about effects and timings of inter-tile things

No. The building is a faction specific SINGLE use per game.

The retainer can be recruited again the next day.
