I'm back but got to go for a little while. Are we going for a culture hunt ie Karosis? There is a lot to read up on here.

The culture hunt is a possibility. Atrahal suggested that Ruse was thief as well, but he needs to get on a computer to quote the posts he made the connection from, so I'm waiting to consider the Ruse route until he does that. Karosis on the other hand, was one of the no-lynchers, so we know that he has the resources to keep us from lynching him, so while lynching him to deplete his resources is a possible idea, more CF's mean more connections, and therefore, more lynches. I'm going to wait to make my more solid decision until I see the posts that (are said to) implicate Ruse as a GoB

I've posted so much I can probably be tied to any faction... people were accusing me of being the Qadi earlier.

And just because Karosis had the resources to block a lynch once doesn't mean he can again.

Dusk:

The first to fall in the conflict was Maymun, Mastermind of the Golden Moon Gang and alledgedly, the Ring Finger of the Guild of Beggars. He had arrived in Ishktar Oasis to set up an elaborate sting intended to rob the Tax Collector of just about everything. In order to do so, Maymun hid himself amidst the diseased in the city, at great risk to his own health. Even he could not anticipate the arrival of a group of mysterious bowmen who murdered the leprose and thereby sunk his plans. With nowhere to hide, Maymun was soon apprehended and strung up by the Nepeth City Guard.

It is rumoured that the Guild of Beggars appointed a new Ring Finger, whose identity is as of yet unknown.

Tennes is dead. He was Maymun of the Guild of Beggars (and Obdigore).

okay. was not expecting that.

I wonder if Karosis is standing gaping open-mouthed at that result :sofa:

Ok, I'm calling for a culture hunt. Nobody likes thieves, and I for one have no interest in ever becoming partners with them. We have Karosis obviously, but I think it's quite apparent Ruse is Guild of Beggars too.

Karosis I would agree with. But why for Ruse? Get off your phone and onto a computer. :D

And I'd like to add Sorrit to that list: he did everything possible to not vote for Tennes. even dropped a vote on Fener after Tennes had 11 votes. He cried several times about "all the speed lynching that gets done" but that vote drop on Fener was strange.

Sigh, you're going to have to wait a few more hours for the Ruse linky Karosis posts - I won't have time to do it properly till late this evening. In the meantime you could not be lazy and have a read yourselves from around p.19 onwards (i.e. from the time Karosis proclaims himself to be Guild), and see what you think :sofa:

Missed/forgot that - can you quote it or indicate approximately what page that was abouts?

Oh, I see someone bought the Magebane Wine - I wonder if that means someone is gearing up to do some mage-killing?

:sofa:

On an unrelated note, I have to be in court later this afternoon, so I'll be gone for a bit...

1624: "Seems kinda shitty of players to push a lynch through when a good number of players were otherwise occupied with Holiday activities. "

1626: "Yeah I agree that all the speed lynchings can really screw people over and I'm very much against them especially when there is so little information on thread about the players that are getting lynched in the first place"

1643: "I'm actually a bit concerned about the speed lynching going on lately. I know people are desperate for information but to lynch someone before they can come on because they are low posters is wrong on so many levels."

1654: "Too bad you all had to speed lynch Tennes right after the freeze. If it's not too late maybe ya'll can remove vote and then speed lynch fener. The fucker deserves to die. (I'm pretty sure I've alted him so this goes for both in and out of game reasons)

vote Fener"

The last one just doesn't make sense. 11 votes on Tennes so why vote for Fener? Especially as one of the other "can't vote for Fener" people pointed out that that would be 5 useless votes.

Yeah that's kinda weird. Possibly Sorrit wanted to defend Tennes and then at the end made the weird Fener vote in a bid to make it look more like he was going for Fener than defending Tennes? But why push for Fener then rather than someone like Tellan who is a suspected Nepeth or HoA?

Alternative idea would be that Sorrit is not GoB but thought Tennes was the same faction as he and also has animosity to Fener's supposed faction. If he thought Fener was CoV this would put Sorrit as probably NP.

Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.

What are you complaining about?
High number of PMs or low number of posts?
If it's the former, then nothing to do about it but the latter will not be an issue once we get rolling again. :sofa:

Edit: Just to add, it's your own damn fault. :D

The thread is boring and stupid. But you are brilliant and charming so we would rather talk to you then to the other morons on the thread.

Well looks like we finally figured out who someone actually is. Too bad you all had to speed lynch Tennes right after the freeze. vote Fener

Hahaha loserboy. If your lucky you will go to the alamo bowl and not to the holiday bowl. Good season for you though.

I'm not saying that you are incorrect. But I am pretty sure that he was bitter over his football loss. :sofa: So his vote was most likely strictly due to alting me. Which isn't hard I suspect that the entire board has by now, if not then you haven't been paying attention.

I don't really care at the moment. I'm having a cheesecake with a brownie bottom all to myself - I sometimes think my gf is actually trying to fatten me up for christmas.

That makes a lot more sense than any sort of mafia reasoning. Thanks!
