Erm, what the hell is this?

False quotes, false (and impossible) dates...what's going on?

Emur's not right in the head

:sofa:

I'd say call it a bet that Tennes is still going to be alive and well come Day 6, but 13 people would jump out of the woodwork asking me how I know.

Sorry, those types of things occur to me. And I have a low temptation level.

Not the first time it has happened for him, and probably not the last.

*sigh*
Chrome on iPad, chrome on laptop, chrome on desktop. You'd think I would learn to use the same browser for the same alt.
Especially after the first time.
Apparently I am too stupid to use 'preview'.

I don't think I've ever used Preview. In mafia I ignore my normal login, and I use a different browser one for this alt and one for H&M

Another thought: If Fener is the Qadi, why is he then so obsessed about sacrosancting? If I understand the role, he has an automatic lynchproof and, even if he is killed, he'll come back three days later. I can only think just because he has the resources to do so and wants to hold on to the lynchproof as long as possible...but that strikes me as a not-too-convincing explanation.

Well if he were Qadi and we did hit his LP then we'd know (or at least be very confident) he is Qadi and would probably go all out on lynching him the next day? By using sacrosanct he keeps the possibility we'll go for someone else the next day. As for the Qadi revival - from what I recall of the first game the Qadi still loses all their as if they died for real and revives with nothing so he'd want to avoid that.

I just went back to reread that and it doesn't mention anything about reviving with nothing:

Quote

* Qadi. You have a bullet proof and a lynch proof. If you die, you are revived after 3 full day+night phases since the moment you died, without the bullet proof and lynch proof, even if one or both of them was not yet consumed.
Qadi's are Summoners.

I didn't read it anywhere I thought that's just how I remember it going in the first game no? I can't imagine the Qadi keeps everything while dead - he'd have a bajillion resources piled up when he finally comes back and would get to keep what is probably a super strong djinn?! Though I guess he probably keeps his buildings and they start producing again when he comes back alive or he'd have no chance.

One other point on the three suspected roles:

We've got

Tepan Sush, Trader (HoA)
Temulin Half-Blood, Caravan Trader, Tax Collector of Ishktar Oasis (HoA)
Mage Hassan, the Dreadfather (CoV)

Looking at the character list from game 0.33:

Quote

The House of Magic
Delat ibn Adaephon, Merchant-Prince
Sharif ibn Delat, High Trader
Tokar ibn Delat, Master of the Roads
Alisa ibn Ben Khar, Trader
Eda Ishan, Trader
Temulin Half-Blood, Caravan Leader, High Trader, Tax Collector of Ishktar Oasis.
Gemüsh Güsu, Caravan Leader

Quote

The House of Luxury
Huassan ibn Qolat, Merchant Prince
Ruben ibn Huassan, High Trader
Fatimah Nün, Trader
Tepan Sush, Trader
Eyla the Scimitar
Faida, Caravan Leader

Quote

House of Terror
Mage Hassan the Dreadfather
Mage Daruk the Raiser
Mage Ternash the Risen

and from the Encyclopedia that corresponds to these traits:

Quote

House of Terror: target a player. The player is guarded for the next phase. You cannot target the same player during the same phase two days in a row.

Quote

House of Luxury: you gain 500 dinari every time you sell an Item or one or more of the following goods on the bazaar: Jewelry, Politics, to a maximum of 1500 dinari per day/night cycle.

Interestingly there is no trait listing in the encyclopedia for the House of Magic...

Oh actually I think the House of Magic has become the House of Transport since there's no House of Transport listed in the 0.33 character sheets.

So:

Quote

House of Transport: once per day/ night cycle, gain 3 Magic or 2000 dinari, your choice. You must use a Caravan to be able to use this action.

The Qadi keeps his items & storage and his production continues while he is dead. All of his retainers (including Djinn) are disbanded (unless they have text saying otherwise).

As soon as I am ready to resolve.

Which, with my current schedule, looks to be around lunch time :sofa:
Meeting, telephone conference and prep for another meeting are interfering.

Dusk:

The first to fall in the conflict was Maymun, Mastermind of the Golden Moon Gang and alledgedly, the Ring Finger of the Guild of Beggars. He had arrived in Ishktar Oasis to set up an elaborate sting intended to rob the Tax Collector of just about everything. In order to do so, Maymun hid himself amidst the diseased in the city, at great risk to his own health. Even he could not anticipate the arrival of a group of mysterious bowmen who murdered the leprose and thereby sunk his plans. With nowhere to hide, Maymun was soon apprehended and strung up by the Nepeth City Guard.

It is rumoured that the Guild of Beggars appointed a new Ring Finger, whose identity is as of yet unknown.

Tennes is dead. He was Maymun of the Guild of Beggars (and Obdigore).
