Thus that mean that if you snort Mormon skin cells you gain Jedi powers? If Tom Cruise began eating his own hair he would be the most powerful person in the world.

There was oh so much substance behind the prequels. "Midichlorians! Totally wizard!" Shut up George.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Beating out (apparently) Tatiana Maslany for the role, Felicity Jones has been cast in Gareth Edwards Star Wars spinoff flick.

I wonder who and what it's going to be about?

There's long been speculation at least one of the spinoffs will feature Boba Fett.

I personally want a Dengar & Zuckuss buddy-cop flick.
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

Whoa!

Prominent headline today. Link in spoiler tags. I'm not putting the text of the story in.

I'm happy now that they've retconned Chewie's death and are making Han's canon. THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR LEAVING CHEWIE ON THAT MOON.

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I think we had the Vader vs Batman discussion somewhere else, once. The notion that there would be a close fight between Batman and Vader is silly. The only way it is possible is if Batman gathers one of those force-nulifying creatures from the plot-dimension and then it's not really a fight between Batman and Vader.

I don't think gandalf can even use magic. I've never seen him do it.
