Bear in mind that the pilot movie and Seasson 1 are more ..... rough .... than the later stuff. But it gets better with each season and the final 4 episodes in season 7 are just beyond awesome.

I'll bear this in mind but I'm not someone who can chop and choose episodes if I'm going to watch a show. It's all or nothing. So if I have to grin and bear it for a season I'll do it no issues.

Let's just put it out there, the pilot movie was pretty bad and the infographic gets it right. Watch the first battle and the introduction of Ahsoka, the rest is trash.

First episode of the first season on Disney+ is a 25 minute long one called Ambush so maybe the pilot movie isn't included in the Clone Wars series on that platform?

The movie is considered a separate thing from the show, so it's on its own. You'd have to do a search for it separately (it's on there though). Honestly, you're not missing much if you just skip it and start at Ambush in the show proper. There's nothing in the movie that you won't learn in the TV show.

You joke, but one of the most FUN episodes of the series (not on the chopped watch list) is BOMBAD JEDI which is about Padme going to Rhodia on a diplomatic mission (which sounds immensely boring...but)... it is essentially a half hour of Jar-Jar and 3P0 being comic relief and it's HILARIOUS and has absolutely no right to be.

The only thing really worth seeing in the movie is the initial introduction of Ahsoka to her new Jedi Master, Anakin, sprung on him by Yoda. His reaction to being "saddled" with a padawan and their immediate dynamic is arguably worth seeing. But that's truly about it.

Is anyone else starting to feel that maybe they are trying too hard, now, with inter-connecting characters from different shows every single time they can come up with the slightest reason? I used to love the tiny connections they were inserting that viewers who watch everything would catch but I'm starting to think they're trying too hard. And if the sisters' contact is who we should assume it is then they are further retconning a particular book that was considered canon. Not a detail to be upset over though.

I have not caught up on BAD BATCH yet, I've only seen ep 1 and 2 so far. I was bothered by the weekly wait, so I put off watching till I could binge it, but I definitely will.
