No spoilers or anything here, I'll just say that the kids absolutely loved it, and I enjoyed the hell out of it. There were tears, leaving happy though.

Qt - I really hope you enjoy it! I'm sure there will be stuff to pick through later but I'm sure you won't come out of it feeling like you did after tLJ. Tell me if I'm wrong!

TRB - try to avoid anything until you see it. So much better to see it with your own opinions only. Have fun on Sunday!

I'm still remembering the little details in there that kept me smiling.

My daughter has had her Rey costume on all day now. Ok it's the first SW she's seen at the cinema, but she says it was the best one of the new trilogy. Take that how you will!

Was going to see TRoS on Saturday, but my friend sent a text saying he scored some top quality psychedelic mushrooms, so we are going to eat those, let them kick in and go see Cats instead. I think we will cherish and remember the 'experience' much more. Hopefully we are not permanenly damaged. But, no risk means no reward, which equates to a dull, boring life. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Well, its kind of hinted at but not proved to be true. Like what he says at the opera in RotS. That's a pretty big nod in that direction. Some people have interpreted the Vader vision in the comic as confirmation but it's only a suspicion.

I liked it. I liked parts of it A LOT, and other parts not so much. I didn’t outright HATE anything though, so that’s good.

But yeah, I liked it and it contains the best scene in any of the three sequel trilogy movies...so for that, I give it fairly high marks. It ain’t perfect, but it’s a damned fun flick that tries its very best.
