Wow. Looking more and more like a rey/kylo reversal.

Was kylo/solo a snape/Dumbledore moment?

Only 6 days to go...

I don't know if we will get a reversal, but I REALLY think that Kylo is going to get redeemed...if not in this movie, then in the next.

He's Han and Leia's kid.
It's a Star Wars movie.

OF COURSE he's going to get redeemed. Probably take out Snookey in the process.

...personally, i would prefer to see Chewbacca rip Kylo's arms off and beat Snoke to death with them, but that's just me.

Not just you. Also, if that happens maybe they'll get a villain with a more interesting design, and better name than Snoke.

Pro: My cautious optimism
Con: The audience seemed to be more of an echo chamber than a wide variation of critics

Currently 93% on Rotten Tomatoes. Not bad.

Yeah I ll be going tomorrow night if I can get my friend to get the tickets. So excited. I’ve a feeling I’m going to leave depressed as fuck knowing the next one I see will be JJ again.

We ordered advance tickets weeks ago and arranged for a babysitter so the wife and I could do Star Wars date night proper on Friday, VIP style too! SUPER excited!

Just over 12 hours to go...

I just won't have anyone to talk to about it straight after.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Really? I wasn't going to say anything,as even opinions are sort of spoilery so all I'll say is, there was some really good stuff... and some really dumb stuff.

I'll wait til more people have seen it, there will be a lot to talk about with this one.

Watched it last night, came to post my thoughts, but essentially I would say exactly what T'rav Elar has already said in the two posts above.

Saw it last night. Just renovated IMAX theater with the finest pleather reclining seats, a perfect angle to the theater so no heads, glorious uber-sound.

I had a lot of fun, i was entertained, got my money's worth.

Thought ROGUE ONE was better.

Most of the 'didn't like' is nitpicky, and to be clear, i DID enjoy the film.
