I still think we should be looking at Korbas. He was the first person to accuse Eloth of possibly being an assassin, and he's still managed to pretty much fly under the radar, and I think that's dangerous.

Sorry, got pulled away from the game unexpectedly. I would have put my vote on Mockra if I had been around. Mockra ended up being an assassin, I feel kind of silly considering how much I listened to him.

Even though it was short, I think Sixty played well. I didn't really see much of a case against him, but I'm glad others did. I voted for him to help get a lynch, and because he voted for me. I was just hoping that someone voting for me might have a slightly higher chance of not being in my faction, since everyone knows one person. Still, kudos to Sixty.

@telann I think culture hunt should come after we find one Eloth was solo or something weird. So keep lynching assassins. soon enough someone will CF faction. Then we culture hunt.

By my estimation, the day should restart within 3 or 4 hours tops, but probably in an hour or two.

So should we go after people who are more active, so that we have more leads to follow after their CF? Or should we knock off some of the low posters. Being one of the lower posters, I'd hope the first over the latter. I'm going to look into the cases Tellan brought up.

I'd usually wait until the day had started to answer this question, but since Galain has returned and not taken any notice of my case, and continues to focus on Korbas like he has blinkers on, I'm prepared to say that I'll vote for him. Well, looks like we got an assassin. very nice. For like the first time ever my mafia instincts were right!

We're kinda back to square one with no culture hunt able to happen. When I come on tomorrow morning i'll look into maybe some connections to Mockra, but as he was an assassin, probably not too much to find, though I find some people unwillingness to vote him kind of weird (thinking of Galain here) I'm wondering if Galain has a similar role to what Eloth had with possible finding powers. He was pretty adamant that we go after someone other than Mockra...but since we now know that Mockra was an assassin, and likely unconnected to Galain, that makes Galains behavior stand out. Possibly a leader who had aligned with the Mockra/assassin? I am leaning towards a Galain vote at the moment. Just to get some information.

Galain also made a post right after we got Eloth's CF, and he immediately said there must be another, independent faction out there. He didn't seem to even consider that Eloth was an assassin, like many of us were thinking. This could be nothing, but it could also stem from having knowledge about assassins, either by being one, or being able to hire one, that let him know right away that Eloth wasn't an assassin. I may be willing to vote for Galain as well, but not sure yet.

I have another question. It seems like we have the three clans: Amako, Ouchi, and Hosokawa. Hosokawa made Ashikaga the shogun of Kyoto, it seems to me. Eloth was part of this shogunate. The scene depicted Eloth as a messenger, looking for help, not someone assigned to kill anyone. It said he was hoping to find help from the western clans, and help stop the violence in western kyoto. Perhaps the Ashikaga Shogunate isn't the puppet that Hosokawa thinks he is, and is working for his own needs. Anyway, if Asikaga is the puppet of Hosokawa, and Hosokawa is one of the 3 factions, who could Hosokawa be talking about in post 232 when he sends a scroll to his 'master' in Kyoto. Who is his master?

All these japenese names are confusing, and so are the scenes. It seems like each scene takes place in one of the factions, and the Amako faction are the ones that killed Mockra, according to the scene. I am wondering if this is just a scene, and PS chose one at random, or if their clan actually had an assassin looking to kill one of them. Maybe the game starts with an assassin in each faction, ready to kill someone.

I'm thinking we might have 3 of each faction, 3 assassins, and this would leave 3 spots for the Ashikaga Shogubate. It's only speculation right now, though. Any thoughts, anyone?

I actually get the feeling he was a hidden faction more. I don't think Shin would put a member in of a faction that doesn't cf as the faction he's in. That would be unfair to the other factions (unless they have something similar).

Also, in the scene, didnt it say something about eloth not fulfilling what his master had sent him to do? Feels like a hidden faction/independent.

either that or votes from assassins don't count and one of the people on the train is an assassin.
