As Cause said, you can set the world state. You can import characters to the Keep providing you have an Origin account attached to your Xbox/PS ID and it'll do a decent job of recalling what choices were made. You can also 'cheat' some of the choices if you're jammy - I've got a worldstate where Alastair married Anora, and Loghain is alive and a Warden.

Anyone figure out where they display the dragon heads at skyhold?

I heard that every dragon you defeat gets their head mounted on a wall at skyhold but I can't find them anywhere.

Not sure. I've stumbled onto the yellow one in the Hinterlands but didn't take it on. Going to level up to 12-13 and then give her a spanking of the lifetime.

I've been able to take 2 down and just got spanked by 2 others so far.

Often when I run into them they are 3+ levels above me. The worst is when they put up their armor thingy, it takes foooorever to break through it to start doing actual damage again, then they just put it up. Especially the one on the storm coast.

How is it you actually pull them down? The only one I've bumped into (Hinterlands) just flew around and pelted me with fireballs constantly.

You have to find their lair. The one in Hinterlands that starts nailing you after you come through that cavern/cave, if you keep exploring further north through that area, eventually there will be a huge open space where the dragon will land and start actually fighting you.

Right then. Time to start teabaggin' a dragon.

Although I hear they have a severe Frost vulnerability so I may have to re-equip Solas with the badass spells as he's my Ice mage. Dorian is my mainstay mage but I've specced him to Storm which has a lot of CC (stuns, shield that stuns whilst casting, all very handy).

The different dragons do different things and have different vulnerabilities. I killed that dragon and a lightning dragon (who you fight in a marshy area, and he keeps electrifying all the puddles/streams, and you need to micromanage your team).

I'm thinking about setting up gear with Severe Rune of Dragonslaying, and specing for each dragon I want to kill (I'm a mage myself) and just nailing it.

I did the same, but I haven't found any Lyrium, only intense lyrium. And finding recipes for runes is also turning out to be a problem.

Other than that and some other, slight, problems, I'm actually enjoying myself immensely with this game.

Just killed my first pair of dragons - the Hinterlands one, and the Storm Coast one. The Hinterlands one was a pretty tough fight, with the landscape, and the adds that came in. I went with a two-tank setup, me as rogue melee dps and one mage. The second one was a lot easier, single warrior tank and spank. Swapped out one tank for an archer rogue.

Now that my tanks all have skills which build large amounts of Guard at once, the combat has become a lot more manageable.

I, inexplicably, got it to run my Old Ass laptop. So far so gooooooood. It might end being my favourite Dragon Age game. The characters are pretty solid across the board and I enjoy the way Bioware peels the layers away. The game play is fun, even if the camera is a big wonky. The game looks great despite running it on the lowest settings (expect dat shiny hair). What I've always enjoyed about Dragon Age series is while the worldbuilding is not all that original it does present a very good 'unoriginal' place to play. That and it's politically interesting, the characters are politically invested, and with this game it feels like I, the player, finally has an actual effect on the politics of the world, not of a single city.

I'm so glad I got it to work.

Oh god some of the dialogue is priceless in this game. Especially when your character is a humourous, sarcastic Qunari.

just started this game yesterday. Got a new computer and oh my god. I've never seen a game look this good. Only a few hours in and i feel i've barely scratched the surface. The scope of the hinterlands alone is giving me skyrim vibes. Even still I feel as if this is one of the greteast games i've ever played.

Leave the fucking Hinterlands. Progress the story a bit. You can come back later.

Just trust me on this.

I'm near the endgame on the main quest and still haven't finished the Hinterlands.

On that note - with crafting, as a melee rogue, Fade-Touched Silverite was a total boon. Every hit gives me Guard, which is usually only something warriors can access. Survivability just shot up!

Picked this up a few days ago, playing on 360.

Once you get past the clunky cutscenes, the dreadfully long loading screens and the many, many conversation glitches(Varric can't stop trying to fall through the damn floor everytime we have a conversation), its a pretty fucking sweet game.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.
