i've accepted your trade. I think it good to have a spare QB. I have also brought in an extra RB and changed a WR for a TE.

There is a tab called 'Players' to the right of your 'Team'. There you can list players by all players or all available players, and you can choose specific positions to list players by as well. There is also a checkbox where you can choose to show your team players in there to see how they stack up.

Okay examples

Say I wanted to change my Kicker from David Akers to Greg Zuerlein (who is available) how do I go about doing that?

Brandon Bolden for Mikel Leshourne

Brian Hartline for Brandon Pettigrew

How many transfers can you do?

I have proposed a trade to Tapper if you have a look at it, I didn't even know what I was doing.

I replied with a counter offer - although had I read that you also consider dropping Leshoure, I wouldn't have made it the way I did :p

As Obdi said, compare your players. Then, you can tick the add box on the player you want (if available, this is a green plus sign, if owned by another team, two arrows above each other indicate a trade). You then get taken to your team screen, where you can cancel the whole affair, or tick the player you want to drop.

This is what it says

Now will this trade happen? When will those players be mine?

Hmm. For the Trade, you press details. Also, you accepted the Trade.

Not sure how to reverse it now if you don't want to go ahead with it (you said you wanted to consider it), but if you want to cancel, let me know and I'll vote against it. If that doesn't help, we'll trade back those players, there's just a week's delay at worst.

The waivers will be determined on your position on the waiver wire. You're in slot 1, so you'll get him guaranteed, then drop to the bottom of the queue. So for the second dude, everyone has a chance to add that guy before you do.

For free agents, nothing is needed, I think, but it may also go by waiver order. Adding a free agent has no impact on your waiver position, iirc.

For trades, there's a 2-day review period, and players won't be exchanged in the middle of a game weekend.

The waivers go through two days after the end of the week. So since there are monday night games the waivers go through Wednesday. Obviously when I say end of the week. I mean the end of the football week which is on monday night. :p

I didn't get any of the 4 people I tried to pick up because people picked them up before me with lower waivers, so I don't want to hear it.

We'll see if it's a worthwhile pick up shortly. The Patriots RBs are ridiculously inconsistent.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Are you still on the look out? I find it very entertaining to look through and see what I can get :p

Can we make transfers each week?

Unlimited every week. They just have to be available.

I have benched both Sydney Rice and Michael Bush this week in favour of Rashard Mendenhall and Brian Hartline. Am I doing the right thing? I don't know but it "feels" right...

You can try the Bloomburg tool on the right side (compare two players to see who you should start), you can use yahoos point projections if you want, or you can go with your gut. They probably all have the same amount of success :p

This fantasy football is like an onion. Lots of layers. I like it and it gives me a lot more interest in NFL. A guy in work actually supports the Jaguars and I can talk to him about some stuff even though he isn't as clued up as you guys.

I haven't got a team to support yet. I will make a decision towards the end of the season.

See I've never used that before. How accurate is it usually? My two decisions seem right from this tool, and I didn't know this would predict this...

SKOL VIKINGS.

But that is because I'm from MN. I just hate people who support teams that win a lot, like people in baseball who support the yankees just because they try to buy championships. Meh.
